"UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE!!! Beautiful Hotel, Lovely Location"
Arrived at Park Hotel Amsterdam very ill.The staff took care of me like I was their own mother. Called paramedics.Met me at midnight when I returned from ER with a wheelchair, prepared special food, checked on me constantly. I cannot say enough good things! The rooms were spotless. The hotel is modern, yet warm and cozy. It is located in a safe area with an energetic vibe. Couple of blocks to the Rjiksmuseum. I was too sick to enjoy my 3 days, but I can say that the transportation system is easy to get wherever you are going. Most of all, the staff at this hotel are CARING and professional. I will forever be grateful to Pim and Fay (and the rest of the staff) for all they did to take care of me, and because of it I was at least able to get to the museum and see The Night Watch :-) I would go back to this hotel just to see them and thank them one more time for all they did to take care of me. It was truly unbelievable how much they did for me. All this and a beautiful, comfortable, well located hotel. If you are thinking of staying here, I can promise you that you will be very happy with your choice.
"The loft room "
Partner surprised me with this hotel. I'd no idea where we were going in Amsterdam, arrived at the park hotel at first didn't think much until we walked through the doors and the hotel was absolutely FABULOUS. Staff weren't all that friendly so I just took a step back and let my partner check in. Arrived to the room and it was beautiful. My partner got us the loft room. (Two story room.) the balcony didn't open but we'd a lovely view and could see the canal / cruise boats across the street. Was so nice and peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable. Hotel had lots to choose from with snacks and drinks but it was pricey. Also you'll see the odd stall / market here and there like a 24/7 mini market but it's a total rip off, €3/€5 for a can of coke. Keep away! The only issue my partner and myself had was Breakfast was €22 pp online, when checking in at the hotel the lady told us €17 pp, I'm a chef and to me this is extremely expensive. Unless it's a Michelin kitchen I'd never pay it. There are restaurants, bars, cafe places directly across the road from the hotel that serve breakfast and hot foods for reasonable prices! And the Hard Rock Cafe. 3 minutes away from the hotel you've a museum up the road, parks around the area and trams. It's so central from everywhere. If you've never been to Amsterdam before bikes OWN the roads over there :) so watch out!! Beautiful hotel and I'd recommend to stay there if your gonna stay in the hotel all day. But if your going over to Amsterdam to do lots of things and sight see getting this hotel be a waste. When I arrived at this hotel I didn't want to move. But we'd so much to do and see hardly in the room! The lookout is a must. the Ice bar. And if your thinking of seeing the Anne frank house book way in advance before 3pm. To avoid hours and hours of queuing.
"Not a single problem."
Staff were friendly. We had a room with a canal view which was cosy, with a comfortable bed and was tidied everyday. The hotel is in a great location, near many bars, restaurants, shops and museums - we never needed a taxi (apart from to the airport, which is about 15-20 minutes away) but there are always taxi's right in front of the hotel. Wi-fi works great too (obviously an essential!) Would definitely stay again.
"Lovely hotel, great location"
This hotel has a nice atmosphere and is in a great location. The room is spacious enough and the bed is super soft. Comes with shampoo, conditioner, body wash which is handy. My only gripe is the toilet. The door is not a proper door, just pulls close so no lock and not soundproof. The door is also see through so you have to pull across a curtain. If you are staying in the room with your partner, be warned you will HEAR EVERYTHING! So that's really odd and not particularly romantic! Otherwise it's a good location for food/drink, museums and shopping. It's about a 20 minute walk to Anne Frank's house or red light district so not far to anything. Also a bus stops just round the corner so you can get to the airport and back very easily. Overall, nice modern hotel and would stay again (if our bathroom had a proper door!)
"Perfect hotel for the price"
My husband and I went on a quick 3 night romantic getaway and booked ourselves a room at this hotel. The location is excellent, right next to the museums, leidseplein square, with tons of shopping, and restaurants. The room was spacious for a European hotel room. We had a view over the canal, which I really enjoyed. The queen size bed was very soft and so comfortable it was hard to get up in the mornings. The shower was amazing. It had a rainshower shower head, and very relaxing. They have great shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and lotion in the room from a local vendor, which I used every day and was tempted to buy in the lobby afterwards. We never ate at MoMo because that is not really the kind of thing we craved, but it was packed every night. The lobby is cozy, and has a nice bar and fresh pastries. Checking in was a breeze, and the lady we had during check in was really friendly and accomodating. We will definitely stay here again.
