"as always lovely"
We have just returned form a fabulous and restful two weeks at this lovely hotel, it is our fourth time over the last few years and it still never ceases to please! The Hyatt has a beautiful setting gorgeous perfect gardens and fantastic pools spotless & clean! I did read other review regarding the rooms, I disagree the rooms are lovely traditional but when built, built with quality to last! The shower is super, the bath tray huge and an abundance of towels and soaps and concoctions! So dont be put of huge airy rooms! The restaurants are great there is a buffet with huge choice, there is Italian, Masala and Goan all excellent! Ananda is a little star and so friendly. We did eat at the Palms one night and the food super really very good, the only let down is Palms service early doors, slow and often a little lackadaisical it needs a character at the front, this should be the busiest bar at sun down but I think perhaps they really like it to be a restaurant' I love an early doors drink! Other than that there are few areas that need updating some upholstery in the dining area and a few chairs here and there, but hey Hyatt your staff make up for it! We will be back ! THANK YOU
This property is on an amazing beach! for us it was spoilt a little by the jets skis and paragliders - which limit swimming. (why do this on such a gorgous place) But I appreciate people like this (in which case go to the beaches on the south they have tons of this) The Hotel itself is nice very clean and some of the staff are amazing - Special Shout to Rupin and Mani) who went well out of their way to ensure we had a brilliant time. Thank you gentleman you are stars! you made this trip for us! Some of the staff are awful: - the guy who asked to me to get my own Ice creams for the kids from the restaurant.... (when at poolside they bring them!) the day we were charged for breakfast when we did not consume any... Food on the café menus can be hit and miss...bewarned. The SPA team who try to upsell to you whilst you are trying to have breakfast every day! The henna lady is very expensive and her work does not stay for long. This is an expensive hotel the food and drinks are below par for the price charged e.g the buffet at dinner exploits the cheapest produce - for those who have tried the buffets in the UAE be prepared to be disappointed. The pool is nice very kid friendly and the adult pool is hostile to those with kids (even if they are not with you!!) sunloungers are plentiful. We had a suite (pool view lagoon) I would not recommend it, whilst the space was nice the noise from outside of the hotel was ridiculous (not the hotels problem) but we did not sleep well for the 8 nights we stayed here. I did ask to change the alternative was very overlooked so declined. This is a nice short stop nothing felt special and everything had a price, most unwelcoming. It scored full points for hosting the best Christmas Eve party I have ever attended amazing, they party hard! great entertainer and music (buffet lacked quality) loads of quantity....but still a truly amazing party - for that alone worth a trip back.
"Imbeccable service, beautiful location, wonderful gardens"
This was our second visit to this hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it highly. It is set in a large landscaped area and the rooms and public areas are well planned and set in beautifully tended gardens and lovely man made watercourses. The rooms are all well appointed, clean, beautifully furnished and large. The sunken baths in the bathrooms are very special indeed. The yoga and meditation sessions were very good and my son was very impressed with the gym facilities. Also, do try a spa treatment. I have never had one more relaxing... There is a choice of around 4 styles of restaurant but as there is a central terraced area for eating even the fussiest family would be well catered for as you could each eat from a different menu if you chose to. The catering here has never disappointed me. There is a certain irony in being served nicer Italian food in Goa than in Rome! My greatest and heartfelt thanks and praise goes out to Vipul who was of great help to us both during this visit and our stay in April 2015. The world needs more people like you! I must also thank Harendra who taught me not to be afraid of making my own dosa and also Adnan and Pallab, both of whom were marvellous in the restaurant. However, I do believe our appreciation should extend further to all the staff who we encountered during both stays. Everyone was polite and helpful. I long to be back there...
the entire team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A very relaxing break in the most beautiful surroundings.Ate on site every evening, plenty of choice. I know India is having a problem with its currency, but that just wasn't an issue
Stayed twice in this hotel and simply love it. Food and staff are excellent and rooms adequate. Private and very nice beach. Lots of optional activities. Be careful if big parties are on -it can get quite noisy...
