"They Own The Flag..."
For me this is what luxury should be - a small hotel on a discrete side street with a nondescript exterior. Yet walk through the door and everything from the decor to the lighting makes one feel they've stepped into a place where jeans and sneakers are not recommended. The hotel is far from stuffy - it just attracts a crowd that remembers that casual is something other than what you wear to wash the family car. The rooms are perfectly appointed, from high end toiletries to ample remote lighting and Bang and Olufsen televisions. The service level is impeccable, the staff both friendly and knowledgable, the food service simple yet perfect. Why the noise about luxury - I've seen Ritz Carlton go towards 500 room hotels staffed by interns, and the Istanbul Four Seasons just too austere - yes, it was previous a prison - yet it doesn't hurt to accessorize the place… Park Hyatt is the top end of Hyatt, and this one delivers on that promise.
"Completely peaceful and relaxing-highly recommended"
We had one night here in transit, and although you need to travel bit from the airport to this quiet neighborhood in Istanbul, it is well worth it. We did pay the extra price and took advantage of the hotel pick-up at Ataturk, which included personal greeting and fast-lane thru the visa and immigration. The Park is a perfect respite after international travel before the next flight- we have stayed in this part of the city many times, but first time at the Park Hyatt. I would highly recommend it. It was very quiet in January (no surprise); the staff was great. Very attentive and personable. The room was large, with the most comfy bed, and the best steam shower (not to mention the great bathtub complete with reading stand!). The bath amenities/toiletries were quite lovely, and the subtle scent is found throughout the entire hotel. We were allowed a very late check-out and enjoyed the fitness center in the afternoon. The breakfast was a very nice Turkish buffet, fresh and delicious, and complete with made-to-order hot entrees. Although the weather was rainy, we wandered to our favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood (Ministry of Coffee) and the night we arrived we 'stumbled' upon a fairly new, very delicious Turkish restaurant, "CatCat"Ocakbasi---and for a breakfast all day place (we did late lunch) try Bazlama Kahvalti. all within easy walking distance of the Park. We definitely hope to return again for another stay in the future.
"Service that is genuine!"
Great Location, very attentive service which really comes the heart. I was not well, the staff contacted a Doctor then organized a taxi to collect my medication. I felt superbly looked after. We also hosted our Abercrombie & Kent clients event at the Hotel and here again - excellent!! I can only recommend!
"My weekend at Park Hyatt Maska"
This very good hotel in the center of upmarket district of Istanbul , great shops and Restourants - has very spacious de-lux rooms, fantastic 8th floor suits and is currently offering very good prices . Great place for Romantic weekends / escapes and well placed if you are funof premium shops and gourmet Restourants .
Visited this hotel a few times now during business trips to the city. The staff, rooms and food are outstanding and would highly recommend. Tucked down a side street it's away from the hassle but only a few minutes walk from restaurants and taxis
