"Special hotel in a special part of town"
I had stayed here by using my promotional night reward through my credit card and I thought that would somehow effect the level of service but I was so wrong. The staff were 5 star top notch and I felt as though there were at least 2 staff members for every 1 guest. Before you could want or ask anything, it was already given and answered for you. Amazing stay. My hotel room was one floor up (#143) and beautiful. I just can't get over the bath /shower room with the rain shower and small seating in the shower. I took 2 hot baths in a single day! It goes without say that the room had everything I needed. The bed was plush and comfortable and the room was quiet albeit the outside occasional street noise but I expected it and enjoyed listening to Paris! The concierge arranged a taxi for me the next morning. I'm not kidding, the next morning, the concierge staff greeted me as the elevator door opened and walked me to the cab out front at 4am. How did he know I was the gal needing the taxi' How did he know I was coming down at that exact minute' Attention to details. Tremendous service, outstanding rooms, a very fabulous stay. I will return!
"Magical oasis in the heart of Paris"
I have been to many wonderful hotels over the years, but always feel an amazing tranquility when I stay here. The hotel is elegant, centrally located in Paris, you can walk to the Louvre and close to many great restaurants. The service is splendid, and the hotel is a magical oasis in the heart of Paris, also near the Madeleine. My favorite place to stay in Paris.
"Wonderful luxury in the heart of Paris."
My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon and were extremely pleased. I don't really know what to say here that has not already been said. This hotel is fantastic. Luxurious, romantic, professional and helpful staff, and perfect location. Highly recommended.
"Perplexing for 5 Stars"
Hyatt Diamond status. OK experience overall but not international 5 star status. Room was small, dark, worn. No greeting upon entry or acknowledgement or escort to check in. No one offered to help with our bags from the cab. Check in was fantastic. Manager came out to greet us and told us they were able to upgrade us to a bigger room (still really small, but ok...wonder how big the original room was). Super friendly. Had champagne waiting for us in room (nice). Had a strand of long hair on one of our pillows -- called front desk and they ordered a thorough cleaning once we left for dinner. House keeping seemed to linger in hallways waiting for us to leave in the mornings (comparison to PH Tokyo -- house keeping are invisible). Breakfast in lobby was good. Requested breakfast in bad last day and it was AMAZING! Full service, delivered to room. They comp'ed us a half bottle of champagne (very nice). Asked concierge if she could book us a river tour -- she said no. Called again and spoke with another concierge immediately and she said no problem -- called, booked, and paid for us and charge to room. Should never happen at a 5 star hotel! Spa was nice and swanky. Guest relations delivered us a parting gift of designer lotion and soap on last night, which was a very nice gesture. Overall, guest relations bent over backwards but there were too many hiccups for the points/money spent. Does not measure up to other Park Hyatt properties or 5 star hotels. Very regretfully, disappointed. On a positive note -- staff at the Orchid restaurant were fantastic on all counts.
We had such an amazing stay at the Park Hyatt Paris! This was by far the nicest city hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was amazing. Loved all the extras such as towel warmers, curtains that go up with a button, nightly turn down service, Evian water. The list goes on and on. The staff was also excellent too. Would love to come back.
