"Blows Four Seasons Away"
In reading other reviews comparing Park Hyatt Sydney and the Four Seasons Sydney, I find it hard to believe that some think there's even a comparison. We spent two days at the Four Seasons when we arrived and it was awful. Run down, service was awful, rooms were not nice and we had to listen to the elevator all night, not to mention numerous other issues. We checked out after two nights and spent our final two nights at the Park Hyatt. It's an amazing property and the staff was unbelievably professional and pleasant. Awesome experience and fantastic way to conclude out vacation in Australia. No comparison between the two properties.
Staff is over the top professional and gracious would bring many other groups back in a heart beat. Highly recommend this property. Rooms are spacious and food is excellent. Cannot beat the location, the best in Sydney
"One of the best hotels in Australia"
Wonderful location with views across Sydney Harbour to Circular Quay and the Opera House, nestled under the southern end of the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. Situated in the historic Rocks area there are many options for both excellent eateries and relaxing waterfront walks. Excellent standards of both service and room. Free wifi that is quick, and no room service surcharge. Best hotel I've stayed at in Australia !!
"One of the best hotels in Australia!"
High levels of service with a v good attitude from all the staff we encountered. Wonderful location at The Rocks right on Sydney Harbour with views across to the Opera House and Circular Quay; excellent room quality. No room service or WiFi charge - a welcome change! Room service was prompt and delivered in the time promised. A true 5 star + hotel. One of the best hotels in Australia!
"Very comfortable must do hotel in just the right place"
We booked an Opera room in the Park Hyatt Sydney that was well appointed and everything you would expect from a first class hotel. Opening the curtains in the morning we were greeted with an amazing view of the harbour and the Opera house so close across the water we felt we could almost touch it. The bed was very comfortable and the room spotless. The balcony was small but enough for a couple of chairs and small table. We requested some washing done as we were away for a month and this was returned in 24 hours although quite expensive against other hotels. We could not fault the views, bar, restaurant, table service great breakfast and other wonderful facilities which we looked at including the roof top pool and gym. All the staff were exemplary and could not do enough for you. We arrived after a night flight too early for the room to be ready; we were greeted by smiling staff and were shown to the Gym to get showered. Wi-Fi was good throughout the hotel and the location of the hotel being nearly under Sydney Bridge was perfect for walking around the City. We would recommend before you travel booking a guided tour driving around the area to help get your bearings straight away. This will give you the key points to spend more time on, during a few days stay. The concierge was very helpful and great to organise anything, including the best restaurants; Opera House Bennelong Restaurant and Bar, Sydney Café-even when full and the Aria which is closed for a refit sadly until mid Nov 16. A boat tour can be arranged around the harbour with lunch that will also enhance your visit and understanding of the City. A guided tour and lunch into the Blue Mountains is a must. We packed the city into five days using this great hotel as our base which although busy worked perfectly.
