I made a mistake with my booking and the manager and service staff were very understanding and fixed it. Overall experience excellent again. Only complaint is they will not guarantee a favourite room. I don't understand this as when I have extended a stay I have had to change rooms as someone was moving in. Very frustrating and the staff cannot give a decent reason.
"Great Location, excellent service"
We stayed for a weekend away for the Crowded House concert. Service was exceptional. From a seamless check-in and tour of our room to arranging a booking at Quay for lunch on the Saturday - nothing was an issue for the staff. The only tiny negative was our room service order after midnight when we returned from the concert - a few items missed but in the scheme of things not an issue for us. Will definitely return for our next child free trip to Sydney!
"The best hotel Spa in Sydney"
I've been looking for a good spa for a while since four seasons had contracted a third party to do their used-to-be excellent spa service. I don't visit spa often but when I do, I would like to splurge a bit and go for the best. After few trials here, I think I found my permanent spa home in Sydney. The facility, ambience, service and products are all flawless. I also like the fact that you have a properly allocated spa lounge, not a small corner next to swimming facilities which some 5 star hotels do in Sydney.
"Location location location "
Park Hyatt Sydney didn't disappoint. We enjoyed strolling around the Circular Quay and Opera house. The Rocks area was very alive and exciting particularly at night. It would be a great stay pre cruise since they board very nearby. As a vacationer, I even felt excitement for the cruisers. :) The pool was great. The jacuzzi/pool overlooks the cruise and Opera house and it was well stocked with towels and comfortable loungers.
"WOW! Service. Location. Hotel."
It's hard to know where to start. This is by far my favorite Hyatt we have stayed in. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. My husband is a Diamond member and we were lucky enough to stay on points (would have paid). We were shown to our room by a wonderful young man which has never happened. We soon learned the layout of the hotel and the surrounding area with a few tips of where to go for a bite to eat. The room it self was very clean and had a view of Harbour Bridge. The hotel on a whole was spotless and there was always someone willing to help if you had an questions. The lounge area over looking the Sydney Oper House was are pre and post dinner spot. After one night they knew us by name and what we like to drink. We even had a meal here and it was fantastic. I am lactose intolerant and the staff and kitchen where very considerate and accommodating. The breakfast is massive with so many options, mine was the smashed avocado on toast. My husband had omelettes, eggs benedict and a variety of goodies from the buffet. The coffee is STRONG in Australia, which we were told so they brought us a coffee carafe of American style coffee. Get the fresh squeed OJ! We had dinner on our last night and it was delicious. The gentleman at the table next to us had two desserts they were so good. Location is PERFECT. You are right in The Rocks and walking distance to many places. I recommend walking. It's an easy city to walk in and so many things to see. For fun take a water taxi. Once again I have to mention the staff and I don't remember names (I have lost my bit of paper where I keep such information), server at the lounge who was Singapore is one of the kindest, happiest person I have ever met. The managers at the lounge were also amazing, we had many great conversations with the staff. I can not recommend this hotel enough. We are going back next year and sadly they do not have any rooms available, so we will just have to go back for a visit.
