"Best hotel in Zurich"
Park Hyatt is the best hotel in Zurich. Their service is 5 star and the rooms are very well done. Showers are massive and bathroom layout works great. The restaurant is one of the best, although this time they didn't cook my steak properly. BUT it's my favourite place. Their steaks are awesome and cooked on wood burning grill. Very good and popular bar inside as well and awesome lounge for breakfast and lunch and business meetings. Very expensive hotel but it's 5* all the way! Definitely recommend trying Park Hyatt next time you're in Zurich.
"Well located and great service!"
We chose this hotel after reading the TripAdvisor reviews and local friends who had informed us it was really well located. Both were right. Everything is in walking distance from the hotel. We had rented a car and the hotel conviently has an underground parking. We took two interconnecting rooms for 5 which worked perfectly! The rooms are spacious clean and the hotel provides water bottles for each room at each cleaning of the room. They also had deliciously scented complimentary toiletries. The beds are incredibly comfortable! We were treated to the best hotel service I have come across yet! The Hotel concierge 'Marko who was very helpful gave us some great ideas for local restaurants and for things to do with children. 'Laeticia' who worked at the front desk was so adorable and really went all out to help us (thank you). Not to mention 'Daniela' who worked tirelessly in room service was so kind to us and our children. I don't know if this great service is a Swiss thing but Park Hyatt is definitely a real 5 star! I am so happy we chose it! We took breakfast included with the room. The breakfast which they serve is simply amazing...our favourite part of our day! You had a lot of choice and good local quality products. They also have cooks ready to bring you eggs cooked however you like it or waffles or pancakes ( all included in the breakfast)! We did order in our room and have to say their cheeseburger is to die for!! As it was Easter they had organized an Easter brunch around their cosy fire on couches and a chocolate workshop to learn to make Easter eggs. The brunch was as expected delicious and filling. They had even organised activities for kids during the brunch. The chocolate egg workshop led by the Hotel pastry chef was one of the best activities during our trip. 'Tilo' is a fun loving, patient and talented chef. We were in a group with other children and at times this could be hard to manage but Tilo pulled it together with laughter and tips throughout the afternoon. Our children absolutely loved this and I would recommend this activity even for locals looking to do something during the long Easter week. Thank you Park Hyatt Zurich my family and I had a fun filled yet cosy (home away from home) Easter thanks to your great staff!
The hotel is absolutely flawless. Never before have I seen such a great bathroom. Staff is brilliant as is breakfast and location. The room might seem a bit dated but it is well maintained. Having nespresso in the room is an additional plus. The entire place is a huge asset to Zurich. As for the guest supplies, they are of great quality- reflecting the whole hotel. I wish I remembered all the names, whose I remember indeed is the Concierge's name, Peter, providing us with a bottle of water for our way home. All around perfect stay ! Thank you!
Excellent service and staff. Could not ask for more. The management contacted me prior to my arrive to meet my requirements, which was great. Super clean and modern which I love. Strongly recommended!
"Thanks for the great experience"
I arrived at the Park Hyatt Zurich about in March 2017 for a 2-night stay as my first visit to Zurich. I chose Park Hyatt for the trip because from the location and the Park Hyatt brand. Prior to the trip, I have read the various reviews online, and the experience turned out better than I expected. Prior to arrival, I've emailed the hotel inquiring about the transportation option from the airport. The directions given was pretty on par and easy to navigate. I also emailed the hotel about my approximate ETA and asked for a high floor room away from elevator and ice machine. When I arrived for check-in, I was told the type of room was not ready yet. Typically hotels would just ask the guest to leave the luggage and come back to check-in at a later time. Thanh Ha, the front desk rep, suggested a couple of local places that are good for lunch while the room is being readied. She took the time to point out a few points of interests around the Downtown area as well, which was a really gesture of client experience. I left my luggage and decided to sit down at the lobby lounge to catch up on my e-mails while there was access to WiFi. While I was there for only minutes, Thanh approached me, addressed me by name, and told me the room was actually ready and asked if I'd like to check-in the room first. I was impressed that she was observant I was still on premise and came to get my personal attention. The room was gorgeous! It was exactly how I envisioned it would be like. The shower was spacious and it was located on a high floor that I didn't hear much of the street traffic at all. The bed was probably of the most comfortable Hyatt beds I've slept on! The hotel is located near Downtown and close to the major shopping areas. It was only a few blocks from Lake Zurich which was great for running. I didn't dine at the restaurant but went to the Lobby Lounge for drinks a couple of times. The service staff really exemplified the concept of Service with a Smile. One time I stopped by the bar and wanted to plug in my iPad so I asked the waitress if there was an electric outlet available. She greeted me with a smile, found the outlet for me, and placed the table near the outlet on Reserve while I went upstairs to get my plug. I thought that was a really nice. The cocktails were great. One night I had the Purple Mojito and the other night I had a glass of Sugvinon Blanc. The hotel seemed to be frequently by business people in the area, many of them in business attire, probably due to its close proximity to the Downtown financial district. I'm giving the hotel a 5- star rating due to its location, amenities, good shower pressure, comfy bed, decent gym equipment, and very decent Wi-Fi; but most of all, it exceeded my expectations on many levels of service attentiveness. I'd definitely consider this property again for future visit.
