"A Jewel of a Hotel"
EXCELLENT stay! Diego the front desk attendant was incredible, as was the entire staff. This hotel has EVERYTHING from sauna and spa room to well appointed rooms, and the filet mignon was so juicy. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will absolutely return soon.
"Promises a lot but doesn't always deliver"
Stayed here on business a few weeks back. Its clean, and functional and a bit odd in places. I didn't like having to walk through an underground car park to get to my room, and although there was a security guard on duty, I would rather have been in the rooms at the front of the hotel. It is in a very noisy part of Bogota and the apartments to the side of the hotel appear to hose parties most nights. Lack of sealed unit windows and additional glazing mean that I didn't get a lot of sleep on any of the nights. Wifi worked well in Reception but I struggled to get a signal in my room so had to send all important emails etc from the lobby. Food at dinner was good - I can recommend the hamburger in the restaurant and the filet mignon. Breakfast was ok - although the choice was very limited. What was there was good. The staff are what makes this place great. At breakfast, dinner and on the front desk. In particular the guest relations manager (Philipe) was great and very helpful. He was mortified when he took me into a room on check in where the bed had not been made. It's a good location, and probably ok for a few nights. Any longer and you would be looking for different places to eat and using wifi in the many restaurants in the area. I would go back but I would ask for a room at the front and also I'd ask for different pillows - they are just so soft that you fall into them and sink.
"Lots of space in a very nice region"
The location is excellent. The room has lots of space and nice facilities. Suggest the rooms with balcony, I stayed in one in the 6th, which required taking one floor with stairs, but the view and fresh air were top.
"Great staff but hotel is very questionable"
The hotel is located in walking distance to trendy Park 93 area with a lot of restaurants and entertainment places. The hotel was under renovation when we were there ( June 2016) as well there were a lot of construction sites around. The rooms are big. When it says 2 bedrooms it is actually one bedroom and the bed in the living room. Mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was not good. We ended up going to Sheraton that was next to Madisson. windows are giving poor sound insulation and you can hear everything that is going outside of the building . Staff is great and they were trying to accommodate us much as they could. The rooms are spacious ,
I can't say enough nice things about the location and staff of the hotel. The name on the building still says Park Inn which confuses taxi drivers some time. My co-worker and I traveled on business and "pre-arranged" our car service with the hotel. Isidro was waiting for us upon our arrival and it was incredibly convenient as we were able to charge it straight to the room. Now the rooms are amazing, we each had a king suite and it was ENORMOUS!!! Had we known I think we would have just gotten one. The service at the hotel was 5 star and we had breakfast included each morning. This part of town is known as Paque 93 and many of our other friends were staying in this area too (we were their for a trade show at the Corferias. I very much enjoyed the hotel and would absolutely stay their again either for business or pleasure if the opportunity should arise!
