"Excellent in every sense"
This is a small but perfectly organized hotel. Right in the heart of the nicest area of Bogotá, blocks away from parque de la 93 and within safe walking distance to everything you could need. That is if the amazing staff doesn't go and get it for you the minute you say you need it. And this is where the hotel exceeds any expectations one can have about an hotel. During my stay, I felt at home and truly welcome by every single employee I encountered. The front desk is beyond helpful, cheerful and engaging. They switch from Spanish to English with ease and nothing you ask for is a problem, even if they don't have it or offer it at the hotel, they will figure it out for you and take care of it with a smile. The warmth of the cleaning and security staff makes you feel like you're home and they are happy to have you over. The maid service is great, Luz made up my room promptly and attended to every request I had. The door guard and bell boy are unbelievably patient with those of us who needed additional guidance to walk around the area and always made sure I felt safe and at ease. The breakfast is included and Yaneth and Lizette at the restaurant will have your breakfast made in any way you want and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal. The same goes for room service which is quick and reasonably priced. See how consistency is key to my review of Madisson Inn' They have the same level of great service across the board and set the bar really high for any other hotel I'll ever stay at. I could go on and on about every single instance of outstanding customer service I've encountered at Madisson Inn but I doubt it would be as impressive as actually experiencing it. Book this hotel with confidence and be ready to be wowed by how much you'll be pampered and taken care of by amazing people like Daniel, David, Luz, Lizette, Yaneth and everyone else there. I won't even consider staying anywhere else in Bogotá. Madisson Inn has made a customer for life now. Thank you for everything.
"Great location, great service!"
Overall, this hotel is totally worth the price. Great service, great location, nice room, and nice breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful. It made our first visit to Bogota a lot easier. Malls are a walk away and there is also a park not far from the hotel where the locals gather every night and you can find a lot of local street food vendors (cheap and yummy). There are plenty recommendable restaurants around the hotel too. We walked around by foot every night after our activities and we felt very safe in this area. The only thing that needs to be improved is the window insulation. We stayed on the 5th floor yet we can still everything from the outside, and unfortunately for us, the 1st night we stayed, there was a car alarm blaring the whole night and prevented us from sleeping peacefully. It's not the hotel's fault but this could be avoided with a better window insulation, it will also make the room a bit warmer (it can be chilly in Bogota during the night).
"Really nice hotel"
First of all , I guess this hotel was a Park inn hotel now Madisson inn. We stayed in a apartment 2 rooms 2 bathrooms and big terrace. The hotel was great. We enjoyed during our stay. great bathroom amenities, nice water pressure, comfortable beds.I just recommend them
"A Jewel of a Hotel"
EXCELLENT stay! Diego the front desk attendant was incredible, as was the entire staff. This hotel has EVERYTHING from sauna and spa room to well appointed rooms, and the filet mignon was so juicy. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will absolutely return soon.
"Promises a lot but doesn't always deliver"
Stayed here on business a few weeks back. Its clean, and functional and a bit odd in places. I didn't like having to walk through an underground car park to get to my room, and although there was a security guard on duty, I would rather have been in the rooms at the front of the hotel. It is in a very noisy part of Bogota and the apartments to the side of the hotel appear to hose parties most nights. Lack of sealed unit windows and additional glazing mean that I didn't get a lot of sleep on any of the nights. Wifi worked well in Reception but I struggled to get a signal in my room so had to send all important emails etc from the lobby. Food at dinner was good - I can recommend the hamburger in the restaurant and the filet mignon. Breakfast was ok - although the choice was very limited. What was there was good. The staff are what makes this place great. At breakfast, dinner and on the front desk. In particular the guest relations manager (Philipe) was great and very helpful. He was mortified when he took me into a room on check in where the bed had not been made. It's a good location, and probably ok for a few nights. Any longer and you would be looking for different places to eat and using wifi in the many restaurants in the area. I would go back but I would ask for a room at the front and also I'd ask for different pillows - they are just so soft that you fall into them and sink.
