"Nice looking hotel"
Here is very nice and good place to stay. This is a nice looking hotel, I've stayed here , is clean room. Good location, right near Manchester Victoria station walkable to quite a few attractions in Manchester.
"Outstanding Customer Service"
As soon as we arrived, we were treated as though we were part of a happy family. The receptionist had plenty of time for us, even though she appeared to be quite busy, and we even got an upgrade to our room. When we got upstairs to the room, the cleaner was there, and she was very friendly and helpful, giving us an extra bottle of water to take into the room. We ate in the hotel restaurant on both evenings that we stayed, and the waitresses there, mainly Ru and Jessica, were absolutely fabulous. On the second evening, there was a lady sitting on the table next to us, and she clearly had allergies to a number of different foods. Jessica took an enormous amount of time and trouble to investigate exactly what she was allergic to, and to enquire in the kitchen as to the dishes that might be suitable or could be adapted to her needs, resulting in a very satisfied customer. The room was very clean and comfortable; we particularly liked the walk-in shower in the en suite. The cleaning was done to a very high standard. When we checked out, the same receptionist that checked us in was there, and again she was very pleasant and efficient. All in all, a wonderful experience; we are coming to Manchester again next year, and will definitely stay again
"ideal for Manchester arena and the Arndale centre"
The reception greeting was excellent , the room was very good and room service was good. The hotel does have parking for the disabled but you have to ask for it. The NCP car park across the road beside the arena also has disabled parking on the ground floor. If you stay at the Radisson they will stamp your car park ticket to get a 20% reduction. We had room service charged £5 for delivery. The food was very good and good value for money. On our departure there was a water issue and our room did not have any, they returned 50% of the bill without quibbling. Definitely would stay again. The Arndale shopping centre is close by so you could leave your car in the same car park.
Our visit began with excellent customer service at check-in, always a good start. Our room was very clean and the facilities here are excellent. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in a hotel and again the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is perfectly placed for the MEN venue but also not far to walk into the centre...will definitely use again.
"Shame about the heating."
Very modern, very clean but very cold, yes it was November. Unfortunately our room 644, was the very last room on the top floor. We wondered if this was why it was so cold. There was also another guest on the same floor who complained about the cold. The air coditioning didn't give off any heat, more like cool air. The corridor was warmer than our room. Reception did provide a heater which did take the chill off but unless we were in bed we had to keep our coats on. They did say the heating had been turned up recently but they would check check it out when we left. I found the lighting was a little bit too subdued and had to direct the bed side light towards any reading matter. However the bed was comfy, there was plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc. We had a good nights sleep, no noise. The staff were pleasant. Breakfast was good but we had to eat in the bar area at a low table. There is a lovely outside heated area. Ideally placed for Printworks, Corn Exchange, Arndale Centre and Victoria Station, all within easy walking distance On the whole a nice place to stay shame about the heating.
