Schönes Hotel, sehr gute Lage zu Fuß alles erreichbar. Guter Service, bei 120 Zimmern etwas voll beim Frühstück, leise, die Bahn war nicht zu hören.Comment of B. .Viola , Germany the 2014-11-08
"Amazing, so glad we picked this hotel."
I'm not one to usually write a review on a hotel but this hotel really deserves it. After reading all the other fantastic reviews I am so glad we chose it, a great base with amazing staff. If you need anything the staff are there to guide you and provide maps, you can even pick up tram tickets from the hotel. The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk along the river to the main centre or you can simply catch a tram. A Tesco next door is incredibly handy, and if you happen to arrive after everything has closed like we did there is a small shop two minutes away. Before I ramble on I have to mention we went for my birthday, however my boyfriend made no mention of this, but the hotel noticed from my passport and surprised us with a bottle of champagne, cake and a card waiting for us. If you're struggling and don't mind being a slight walk/tram ride away go for this hotel and click that book button now.
"WONDERFUL BREAKFASTS. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF. LOVELY, MODERN ROOM WITH GREAT SHOWER."
My husband and I have just returned from spending a week at this excellent hotel. I had asked if we might be given a room overlooking the tram lines and railway. We were given a lovely room on the third floor. It had everything we could have wanted. The bathroom was modern and ultra-clean, as was everywhere else in this hotel the shower was always hot and the water supply plentiful. We often stay in The Park Inn in Berlin but this one beats even that one for its choices at breakfast. The breakfast room was open from 6am. for several hours. There was just everything, hot and cold, with a huge array of different types of pastries and croissants, cheeses, hams, "full English", lots of different breads and all sorts of other things. Juices, cappuccino, coffee, tea and four different types of milk were all available. The staff, without exception, were friendly and helpful. When I mentioned that I'd treated my husband as the holiday was for his birthday, we were given a bottle of Prosecco and a birthday cake. What a lovely surprise. Although we ate only a couple of dinners in the hotel, the staff were happy to recommend other local, Czech restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The air conditioning was almost silent and could quickly be altered to suit the weather. Although we overlooked the railway, no trains operate during the night. In any case, the rooms are triple glazed so only a quiet rumble can be heard in the mornings. I always take earplugs when we stay in hotels and I couldn't hear a thing when using these. My husband couldn't hear any sounds either. Everywhere was immaculate and well maintained. Features from the old printing works were tastefully incorporated all around the hotel. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Prague.
"Excellent break in Prague"
We booked the city break with Jet 2 Holidays and were so glad we chose this hotel. We arranged a taxi pick up from the airport with the hotel (contact hotel for details but well worth booking and cost Kc650 (£20)) and the driver was waiting for us in arrivals with our name on a board and took us to the hotel. The hotel was fantastic from the moment we checked in to leaving. Everyone made us feel so welcome, the hotel was spotless and the service was first class everyday. Our room was clean and perfect for our break and serviced everyday. We had a meal in the restaurant on the first night and it was lovely. Breakfast was lovely everyday and there was a wide choice to suit everyone. The bar was well stocked and the barmen were brilliant and always smiling. A great credit to the hotel were the staff from reception, housekeeping, bar area and restaurant who made you feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. A Tesco Express is just next door which is handy. I would definately recommend this hotel and its only a short tram ride or nice walk along the river to the city centre. Will definately return again.
"Most beautiful city, relaxed, exciting, loud and quiet all with in a short walk."
Spotless, room and hotel with great service. Try the restaurant it was very good. I would recommend getting the daily transport ticket as its much better value. There are eateries and bar's to suit any tastes or requirements. You must try the apple and cinnamon or strawberry and ice cream doughnut cake things.
"Lovely hotel with friendly staff"
Booked a short city break in Prague with Jet2holidays and really pleased with our choice of hotel. The Park Inn hotel is modern and comfortable (although I did miss my own pillow) and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a self service buffet with an array of hot and cold choices. I'm a tea person but the coffee here is very good. The hotel is located in new town. If you like walking it's about 20 - 30 minutes walk along the river to the old town square however public transport is so frequent and cheap - the number 17 and 18 trams are a short walk away. Ask at reception about all the transport options, prices and how to activate tickets. There is a gym with basic equipment if you want to keep trim so that you don't feel too guilty for indulging in the excellent Czech beer across the city. There is a Tesco express behind the hotel which has just about everything you need at very reasonable prices. Czech food isn't very exciting but worth trying for the experience although the hotel does offer other options. All in all a great base if you like being away from the busy tourist areas.
