Schönes Hotel, sehr gute Lage zu Fuß alles erreichbar. Guter Service, bei 120 Zimmern etwas voll beim Frühstück, leise, die Bahn war nicht zu hören.Comment of B. .Viola , Germany the 2014-11-08
"Clean, modern, great breakfast buffet"
We came here as part of a Grand Circles tour. Our luggage didn't arrive with us. As a result of that delay and the driver had to deal with rush hour traffic. As a result, we were late for the introductory presentation. None of that was the fault of the hotel, but put us in a bad mood. That was quickly dispelled as everything after that went smoothly: check-in was a breeze; our room was spacious, well-appointed and the shower plumbing was user-friendly. Those of you who have toured in Great Britain will understand why I mentioned that. Everything seemed brand new. The hallway carpet smelled like it had just been laid. We didn't get a chance to eat dinner at the modern restaurant but I did sample the breakfast buffet which was the better than I've seen in Russia, Australia, the Danube, Italy, Great Britain or Caribbean cruise ships. My favorite is the herring. I know, Americans don't typically eat fish for breakfast but I am now a convert. It's presented in a disk, about half an inch high and two inches across. The herring strip encircles what tastes like a pumped up cole slaw. The herring tastes so fresh it seems like it was caught that morning! If you're a "fiber for breakfast" person, you'll be pleased with the large assortment of nuts, seeds, etc. you can also find all the standard European breakfast buffet items. The buffet opens at 6:30 am on weekdays. The hotel is within about a ten-minute walk of the street car stop. This is an excellent base from which to experience the wonder which is Prague.
"1st Class Breakfast Hotel"
We stayed at this hotel during our 3-day trip to Prague. It is not located in the centrum area but you can walk along the river to Charles Bridge in 15 minutes. Good hotel. The one thing that we all enjoyed was the crazily full buffet breakfast! Tons of varieties of food. We will stay here again just for this reason.
"Great for a business trip"
I visited Prague on a business trip from 30th November until 2nd December 2016. Our Czech colleagues booked this hotel for us for 2 nights and we also had use of a meeting room at the hotel throughout our stay. My bedroom was spacious and included a king size bed, bath, shower, flat screen TV, safe and minibar. There was also a powerful hairdryer in the room which was useful. On the second evening I ordered a club sandwich through room service and delivery was 100 CZK. Our meeting room was on the 5th floor and included a large terrace which overlooked Prague. The terrace provided a great view at sunset. The meeting room had a projector, ample plug sockets, coat storage and a bathroom. We had breakfast and lunch at the hotel each day. Breakfast consisted of a large continental selection and some hot food. The lunch menu was mostly British dishes and was reasonably cheap. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk into the main centre of Prague, however I am sure it is possible to get a tram or Uber into the town centre for a small price.
"Must Stay! "
Stayed back in August in this lovely hotel. I would recommend highly. Not to far of a walk to the old town. Will be back again soon! The staff were every helpful with any and every question he had. Had a problem with the safe in the room but was fixed the same day. The rooms were cleaned everyday and were spotless. Couldn't fault anything with this hotel.
"An excellent hotel with friendly, professional staff."
I stayed here for 2 nights in November as part of my trip to see Southampton FCs execrable display against Sparta Prague. The hotel is really first rate, very clean, comfortable & welcoming. All the staff were extremely professional, friendly & helpful. The hotel is a pleasant 10 minute walk along the river from The Old Town. The onsite bar and restaurant is super, with very reasonably priced and extremely tasty food on offer. I would be very happy to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prague
