"Great family friendly hotel"
Excellent location for exploring London. The hotel rooms were very spacious with a divider between the room ( the bathroom & kitchen) to allow children to have their own space & tv. The kitchen was very useful to have too. Cleaned daily to a high standard
"Our first visit :)"
It was beautiful, we have no objections. The location is excellent, and the room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Michela, Ana, Fatima, Nelly, Selena and Ricardo. We will certainly come again!
"Not really economical. Westminster park plaza would have been a better value for money."
Discounted price does not include breakfast. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. Provision of microwave and cutlery with washing liquid very useful. No appropriate drop off and pick up point for vehicles. Room curtains could not be opened as other rooms and corridor look in.
Like a few reviews before our room was not ready when we checked in about 14:30. The reception did give us complimentary beverages while we waited in the bar for about 1/2 hour. The room was a nice size. A sofa bed and a queen size bed. The bathroom was roomy also with a very nice tub and a separate shower. We did not utilize the sofa bed because we had an infant, which a crib was provided for. Our room was on the 8th floor but it faced the middle of the hotel so I could hear constant noise from the restaurant on the Mezzanine floor being that the bed is right by door. Our tub had a few strands of hair still in it when we arrived. Other than that the hotel was good. It was a 7 minute walk to the Waterloo station where we utilize the tube. The bus stop was just a few feet away also so that was very convenient. We were able to walk to a lot of the sights we wanted to see. We ate fish and chips at Fishcotheque located very close to the Waterloo station. It was excellent. We also picked up dinner one night at a cafe inside the Waterloo station. We did not have the breakfast package therefore we did not eat at the hotel restaurant at all. Overall, very pleasant stay. Good location.
"Birthday celebrations and meeting up with daughter who has just gone to UCL uni"
What a lovely hotel. Staff are so friendly and very helpful. They asked what the reason for our visit was and my daughter was quick to say it was my birthday. We were too early to get into our room but they said they would mark it as priorty. We left our bags and went to explore. When we got back to our room there was a bottle of wine and a birthday card which was so nice and thoughtful of them, such a lovely touch. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the London Eye and just round the corner from Waterloo station. The room was excellent with a small kitchen area, two double beds, and a fridge. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying again in the future, one good thing about having a daughter at uni in London, get lots of weekends away!!!
