"Quirky Business Hotel!"
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! When I asked for an upgrade, they upgraded us free of charge to an executive room - hey, if you don't ask you don't get! I'd also previously emailed advising as I was travelling with my father could we guarentee twin beds and a bathroom with a 'proper' wall. (See previous reviews!) Both were provided with no quibbles. Check in was seamless and we were allowed to check in early. The staff were lovely and friendly, and provided maps. Particular shout out to the blonde guy with the 'man bun' - he was so helpful and friendly! Room is absolutely spotless and so quirky with a huge rug of a dollar bill. There's a coffee machine that has too many bells and whistles, but when we eventually got it working it was delicious. Just a 10 minute walk from Alexanderplatz or if you're feeling lately there are TWO U-Bhan stations around the corner. As usual, I don't bother with hotel breakfasts as they're expensive in every major city - there's a cute place around the corner called Cappuccino I can recommend. However the mini bar prices are more than reasonable. There's also a supermarket around the corner to stock up on 75c beers and snacks, As a few people have mentioned this is a business hotel (the clue is in the name...') but it's clean, quirky and a perfect location! What's not to like'
Great hotel in a good location for getting to Berlin's main attractions. Rooms of a good size with a double bed and large tv. You were able to watch English tv channels as well as German, which we found useful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. U Bahn stations were very close, just a few minutes walk. Overall a great hotel, we would stay again.
"Very tidy hotel. Great location"
Wall Street themed hotel. Location is great as it is really close to metro station and not very far from museum island or Berlin city centre if you fancy a walk! There is a nice bakery nearby- they serve coffee too, ideal for breakfast. I think the wallstreet theme is ok for business, but for couples it is a bit unemotional and cold. Other than that, the rooms are very tidy clean and spacious.
"Good hotel. Decent sized rooms and decent facilities."
This is a decent hotel close to Spittalfield underground station located in Berlin's Wallstreet which is a few stops away from Alexanderplatz where most of the city's attractions are accessible. The hotel room was a decent size. There was chocolate and marzipan gifts on arrival to the hotel room which i reserved. The decor in the hotel room may not be to everyone'es taste. There is a large image of George Washington on the carpet to greet you when you enter the room. There is a decent bathroom and assortment of toiletries and hairdryers as standard in most four star hotels. The cabinets include iron, shoe wax and a Nespresso machine which I never figured out how to work. It was a noisy frustrating machine which I gave up trying to work out how o use it. I would rather have had a normal electric kettle instead. The hotel contained a lift I also struggled to find my room on the second floor as I got lost through all the corridors, sauna and small bar. I didn't use either facilities. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. There was also a computer and printer reserved for the guest close to the bar to print off air plane ticket booking confirmation. Quite helpful.
"Good hotel with helpfull staff"
Rooms are of a fair size. Staff are really helpfull. Internet Ok. Breakfast buffet recomendable with a broad offer for various options. Location it is not so down town, however the Metro station is just 100 meters out of the front door.
