"Best Hotel in Zermatt"
If you like a old world hotel with all modern amenities, breathtaking views on the Matterhorn and a staff that will treat you like family - come here. I come for the 7th time and I always love my stay and will come again. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food and the service is very good and the new Spa and pool are a treat. There is no gym in the hotel, but you have free access to a very well equipped private gym (Physiotherapist) just 5 min walk away. The staff and the friendliness is the main reason to come. It starts with a great breakfast with a very attentive Chef de Service, continues with personal treatment during dinner and ends at a pleasant chat at the very classy bar.
"Old World Charm"
We just returned from an amazing stay at the Parkhotel Beau Site. It's a wonderful hotel that combines old world charm, outstanding service, delicious food, and the modern amenities of their newly re-done wellness center. We had a corner room on the second floor with spectacular views of the Matterhorn and the town. It was amazing to wake up each morning and look out our window at the changing light on the mountain. Service there was impeccable, from the staff at the front desk to the servers and managers in the dining areas. We looked forward to seeing Francesco in the dining room at breakfast - always with a smile on his face, and always stopping by to chat or bring us special coffee. The lounge was a great place to meet up with our friends for drinks before dinner and enjoy the fireplace and the music. Dinner was always excellent, and we were lucky enough to have Ina as our server - friendly, funny, and always eager to help us decide what to order - and who also speaks six languages! The Parkhotel Beau Site is the perfect place to stay when in Zermatt. It offers everything you could possibly want while staying in this beautiful town.
"Very nice stay"
it's a beautiful old hotel in Zermatt. we have been there many times over the last many years and enjoy it each time! the food is always exellent, as is the service. the staff is very helpful and friendly. thank you!
"Once again a wonderful stay"
Zermatt is a wonderful place in winter and summer and we have stayed at the Beausite many times and always received excellent service from the helpful hotel staff. Herr Schwegler, the Director was as usual his charming and welcoming self and is very hands on with e.g. running the barbecue evening and mingling with the guests during meals. We were a party of five and stayed in the old part of the hotel by choice and the rooms were excellent. Special thanks must go to Francesco who is always very attentive and organised the spectacular delivery of a cake for my husband's birthday. One sad thing was that this year we missed Emilio's welcome smile and Maria's beautiful flower arrangements; still they both fully deserve their retirement. We hope to return in the summer but if not we will be there next February. Many many thanks for a wonderful stay.
"The perfect 3 generation family holiday!"
Zermatt is one of the most stunning places I've ever had the joy of visiting, and the Park Hotel was a perfect place to enjoy it from. We were a tad worried as we were coming away for my mothers birthday but brining our 8 month old daughter with us. whilst the hotel isn't 'child friendly' in the sense of play areas or crèche space, the staff and the environment made our little one feel so comfortable, the staff always stoped to engage with her and provided a cot and kettle on request to allow us to sort milk for her. Zermatt is not cheap, anything is going to cost you a pretty penny, and the hotel is in line with these costs, but having eaten at a few cafes, the hotel lunch choice was wide and often far more reasonable than some of the other local establishments. The pool and spa facilities were exceptional, the pool is large, large enough for us to have the baby in with us, others to be playing and some folk to swim, onto of this in the pool area there are to hot tubs. The spa provides a huge selection of massages and treatments, and again the staff were exceptional in there. If I had to pick one thing from our stay with the Beau Site it would have to be the food! We ate in the restaurant every night, and my gosh was it good! Four courses, with a good selection in each and each dish was served perfectly, encouraging all of us to try new things in the trust they would be the very best version of the dish. As I've said there is little hope of a 'cheap' stay in Zermatt, but if you are making the effort to travel all the way there I couldn't recommend this hotel more for your stay. Picking somewhere for a holiday with 3 generations of a family is hard, but the hotel, the access, the staff, the food and the setting made for a great weeks stay which all three generations loved.
