"Love this hotel"
Stayed here twice now within 8 months on 2 separate ski holidays with my family. We stopped in the main part of the hotel and both occasions the rooms are of a very good size and nice and quiet over looking the front of the hotel towards the matterhorn. The breakfast and dinner is always excellent and the staff are very friendly. During the afternoon, there is complimentary cakes and hot drinks. access to the town and ski lifts/bus are excellent. there is a ski hire shop just down the road. the swimming pool is excellent. This would be my only choice of places in Zermatt - have stopped in the Mirabeau but not a patch on the wonderful Parkhotel!
"Trip to celebrate 25th Wedding Anniversary"
This hotel never ceases to amaze us. We are now on our 5th time of staying here both summer and winter and since our first stay back in 2003 it only gets better. This time we thought we would stay for Christmas to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. On our arrival we were impressed that we had not only been upgraded to a Matterhorn view room as in the winter we don’t use the balcony as much so booked a back room we also had champagne, chocolates and flowers in the room with a lovely message from the hotel. Those small touches make such a difference and our evening meal was as always delicious. Unfortunately, the holiday did not progress as planned and my husband had a skiing accident on the first day and was hospitalised in Visp for 6 days. I cannot fault the staff during what was a worrying time. From the reception team to the restaurant team and the Hotel Owner and his wife to the Housekeeping and Concierge they made what was a worrying time so much easier for me as I was on my own for 6 days. The hotel taxi was there to collect me from the station each evening and they were more than happy to accommodate me when I arrived back late for my evening meal. They helped with any phone calls to the hospital and translation from the reception staff. They always asked how my husband was doing and when he returned to the hotel to recuperate they continued to assist us. We had to extend our stay for a further 3 nights and they helped us move room with concierge taking our cases from one room to another and helping with the extra pillows required for my husband during his recuperation. We had to travel back by train and could not manage our cases so even when we left they helped with the collection of our cases and kept in contact even when we returned home on when they were being collected. They went over and above what I would expect from a hotel and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We are now booked up for a summer return and walking this time not skiing so fingers crossed no further accidents. We both love Zermatt and some hotels may not have kept up their standards over the years we have visited, but this is not the case for the Beau Site and I cannot recommend the Hotel and the team that work their enough as it is not just the look of the Hotel that makes you decide to go there, it is the team that work in the Hotel that make it extra special.
"The most charming hotel in Zermatt!"
People who work in the hotel make every stay like being at home: safe, warm, friendly.... The food is excelent and generous. Swimming in the pool in sunlight after skiing is great experience. Flowers and fresh fruit in the lobby seem to say "Welcome!" and "Good morning!"
"Ski and leisure,great holiday "
Second winter in Beau Site Hotel in Zermatt ,the most chique elegant ski resort in Switzerland. The hotel is splendid situated, central but quiet hill side, close to the ski starting point stations. From the first moment of arrival, felt as we were back at old friends. The behavior of all the staff was extremely warm and helpful.A harmonious interaction could been noticed in all their activities,at al the levels ,in all the domains. The hotel is elegant and very hospitable.Everything is showing good taste and care for the visitors. Rooms are enough spacious and elegant, very well maintained with nice views, some of them with balconies, spotless clean, quiet . The lobby nice and pleasant ,every afternoon, the hotel offers nice tea and coffee with a selection of cakes and croissants, supervised and deserved by Pavel and Ina,smiling and attentive couple of bartenders. The restaurant halls, also very elegant and spacious,is always functioning very good and with a lot of special evenings, high quality gastronomic entertainment:fondue chinois, raclette Swiss evening, and the exquisite grill dinners. The swimming pool with the jacuzzis and the sauna are very nice and pleasant too.The hotel has a nice Spa too. We can conclude that we had a perfect week of pleasure and relaxations and no doubt,we'll be back next winter.
"Wife's birthday ski trip"
Day two of our week Long trip but I have been so impressed I wanted to write something right away. The hotel is 110 years old but is in great condition and has been sympathetically with a great pool in the basement and a dinning room extension in classic Swiss chalet style. At dinner last night, the hotel manager come around to each table to greet everyone and make sure we were all happy. The meal itself was excellent with a great choice for my vegetarian spouse. All in all we are very satisfied.
