"Stop-over on route to Thailand "
We stayed at Park Royal for two nights. The hotel is lovely and well situated. Monorail just a few minutes walk away. We were on a bed and breakfast package and the breakfast was excellent, catering for eastern and western tastes, lots of variety hot and cold. The egg station will cook omelette, fried, poached and scrambled. All in all a very good stay.
"Excellent stay in Kuala Lumpur"
We stayed at ParkRoyal in Kuala Lumpur on 3 separate occasions in April 2017. Hotel is amazing, in an excellent location and the staff are friendly and helpful. Pool is wonderful after a Hot day of sightseeing! Would recommend this hotel for couples and families. I will definitely stay here again on my next Malaysian trip.
"Two days in Kuala Lumpur"
We spent the first two days of our honeymoon in KL - this hotel was a great start when arriving after a long journey. Friendly staff, very easy check in and check out, brilliant air con (essential when you're not used to the heat and humidity of KL city yet!!) clean and large room in an excellent location - within walking distance of many attractions in the city. The staff speak perfect English. Extremely comfy bed with big fluffy feather pillows - good for jet lag! There is also a metro stop very close by and also a taxi rank outside the hotel. The room has floor to ceiling windows - perfect for admiring the view of the KL tower. There is also a large swimming pool which a few guests seemed to be taking advantage of but we didn't have the chance as we were out sightseeing all day. We had transfers arranged for the next part of out holiday - the staff very helpfully printed out the details and push them under the door without us even asking. They also knew it was our honeymoon so they brought us a very welcome basket of fruit and a box of strawberries dipped in chocolate. I can't think of any negatives about this hotel for a short stay. I would stay here again if I was visiting KL.
"Annual event "
Once again my family of 4 retuned to the Parkroyal for our annual holiday. And once again it didn't disappoint. Given clubrooms 408 and 406, we had a perfect stay in very familiar surroundings. The standard remained including the facilities, food and service. Everyone talks about the central location so I won't expand on this. Breakfast was full of delicious choices and we never had to wait for a table. Food was replaced very quickly and it was nice to see so many familiar faces including the lovely gentleman who does the Teh Tarik. I used the gym every morning for the 7 nights we were there and the condition remained excellent along with the pool area. Check in and check out we're smooth and fast and it was really nice feeling it was part of home. Thanks to Mark Losi and his team, we will be back.
"Old and gold"
Was there for a night only. Before check in, was informed that it was a very old hotel but upon check in, you don't see sign of aging at all. It looked efficient, clean and comfortable. Room was spacious. Toiletries only short of lotion, wish they would provide that. Otherwise, bathroom is spotless and the water pressure and hot water excellent. Bed was bigger, as the usual case with hotels of this standard. It was firm and comfortable with soft fluffy pillows. Could use a colder Aircond though, even though setting was low but it doesn't seemed to reach the bed areas. It wasn't hot, just not cold enough. Overall it was a nice hotel to stay, with ample facilities and attractions surrounding it.
