"Useful location, good hotel"
The hotel is located in a the high technology zone, so it was good for me as I was there for work and could go to my office in about 5-8mins by car, or 30 mins walk. I stayed at the hotel for two weeks and used the hotel shuttle bus to go to work, it goes every morning on a set route which several international companies along the way. It wouldn't be so good for just sightseeing; however it's very close to the metro, which links up very well to central shanghai. The breakfast is good - lots choice. The restaurant is also good - a bit expensive compared to most of the other eating-options near the hotel - but most of these are fast-food places. The pool is nice - you need a cap. The rooms are quite big, and the bed very comfortable. English TV is limited to some news channels (CNN) and two movie chanels showing older movies. Shower is great, there's an iron and board in the room and also tea/coffee making facilities. The staff are very friendly.
"Good hotel; staff very courteous!"
I recently stayed at the hotel for business and I was impressed! The rooms are large with separate bedroom/bath and lounge. The air-conditioning could be a little more powerful; it got a bit hot on occasion. The restaurant is ok however there was one staff member who regularly yells at staff in the kitchen however you can hear her from your table. Its quite distracting and unnerving! On the whole, staff were very helpful and understood/communicated in good English.
"Cozy, low key hotel"
It is my company's choice for business travel to ZhangJiang, ShangHai. Stayed there many times, I'm always pleased with the stay in this hotel. Close to my company, quiet low key setting, great services, and food selection is just right.
"Good Business Hotel for Business in Zhangjiang"
Have stayed here numerous times and staff are courteous, the rooms very comfortable (sometimes with gratis upgrades), and the spa facilities restful. The design aesthetic is natural (slate and wood, primarily) with simple, clean lines. The breakfast buffet is quite plentiful and the option of outside seating welcome in the right weather. Dinners are good but not inexpensive. However there is a restaurant mall next door with an enormous variety of offerings and convenient ATMs. The subway into Shanghai is also a 5-7 minute walk. It's about 20-30 min from Puxi or Lujiazui so not so convenient if one is seeking nightlife. The facilities seem to have faded a bit - in-hotel shop was closed, slight chemical smell from cleaning near my room, but still a welcome location if you can get the local rate (under US$120/night).
"Good place stay for a business trip"
This is the first time I have stayed here for a few years - prior to that I was a regular guest. It is a more than reasonable place to stay on a business trip and is close to the Metro and a range of local restaurants. In Hotel dining is available although it is expensive. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and have been improved greatly since my last visit. There is however a shortage of English speaking staff.
