Located in the Sants-Montjuic district, between Calle Consell de Cent and Calle Béjar, the hotel is a few metres away from the underground station of Plaza España, in the oldest and most outstanding Fairs area of Barcelona. It is also one of the areas with the longest shopping tradition in the city, down the buzzing main street of calle Creu Coberta (the old “Carretera de Sants”).
Very well communicated with all city motorways, the hotel is just a few steps away from the main train and coach station of Barcelona-Sants.
"Great Hotel in the Perfect Location"
My boyfriend and I have just returned from 4 days in Barcelona, we booked our trip through Voyage Prive (whom i'd also highly recommend). We've been to Barcelona before so we knew roughly the area that the hotel was in and were happy that this would suit our needs. We hopped on the Aerobus outside the airport terminal and got off at the first stop (Placa d' Espanya) from there the hotel is a very short walk (3 mins). The staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and even allowed us to check in early as the room was already available. We had bed and breakfast, having stayed in a number of hotels in city centres this one was by far the best breakfast available, whatever your taste you'll find something that you like. The staff we always helpful, they printed out a number of things for us, tickets and boarding passes etc. It's a great hotel in a great location within walking distance of the Magic Fountains and the Arenas, as well as the Espanya Metro stop. I couldn't recommend it more and will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Barcelona.
Great location, easy to access metro & Bus. lot of restaurants closed by. Staffs were friendly but some receptionist are quite rude. Cleanliness of toilet need to be improve. Not a four star hotel, a little overprice. GYM and sauna are quite small. I stayed at this hotel brand in Porto and their services was beyond my exception. But unfortunately, quite disappointed with this hotel. Sorry
"Beware of cancellation policy"
Business is about making money and Pestana assured me that making money was well above empathy and customer service. I was slated to travel to Barcelona for a concert in 2016. I placed my booking for the hotel in early July. My flight was scheduled to travel through Turkey and at the time there was an attack on the city and the airport was shut down. I had to cancel that flight and my trip to Barcelona. After several communications with the hotel reservation staff (Minerva [-] and Gemma [-]) via email, between 7-26-16 and 8-2-16, they explained that my booking option was non-refundable despite the horrors of the violence spewing in Turkey. I suggest international travelers book elsewhere with a proper cancellation policy in case of emergencies.
"Great little hotel in great location!!"
This hotel was perfect for what we wanted!!! Great location, pretty modern and nice big room!!! Only 10 mins from the main part of Barca this hotel was great. Shopping centre down the road, magic fountains 5 mins walk away was great!! Hotel itself was ideal, can't really fault it!
"Lovely stay,great staff"
Very pleasant stay in the Arenas area, easy to get anywhere from Plaza Espana and a lovely hotel with great staff. Comfy beds, stylish bar great for meeting up. Area great for meeting the very friendly locals. Lots of small shops and then there is the Arenas Shopping Centre located in the old bullring. See the Montjuic fountain display from the top of bullring at sunset -just magical. A great stay. Can't wait to head back.
