Located in the Sants-Montjuic district, between Calle Consell de Cent and Calle Béjar, the hotel is a few metres away from the underground station of Plaza España, in the oldest and most outstanding Fairs area of Barcelona. It is also one of the areas with the longest shopping tradition in the city, down the buzzing main street of calle Creu Coberta (the old “Carretera de Sants”).
Very well communicated with all city motorways, the hotel is just a few steps away from the main train and coach station of Barcelona-Sants.
"Nice Hotel close to placa espanya"
Nov 18th - 20th 2016 Finding the Hotel - Really easy. Get the aero bus from El Prat to placa Espanya. Head over to the 2nd left so the old bullring/arena shopping centre is on your right hand side. Walk straight until you get to a big Allianz building, turn left, the hotel is on the right at the corner. The Hotel - Really modern deco, place is spotless. We were in room 315 which was well kitted out with modern finishes and really comfy bed. Best nights sleep ive had in a hotel in a long while! The rooms itself is really big with plenty of room for us 2 and loads of storage places. The bad bits - I felt the bathroom showed a bit of wear and tear such as the shower not working and big holes in the wall behind the bath taps which unfortunately, I felt let the bathroom down as it was rally nicely decorated. I also couldn't get the safe to lock no matter how many times I tried to follow the instructions! I wouldn't let these things put me off staying in here in the future as the the hotel has a lot of cafes and shops around it and also handy for tour bus. Would recommend it to anyone visting the city.
"Great room great location friendly service"
We were passing through Barcelona planning on spending just one night. The room was so nice and the staff was so friendly that we stayed two nights. The hotel is a convenient walk from the railroad station and close to Plaza Espana. We ate dinner the first night at the hotel and was not disappointed. The breakfast was also very good. The walls were a little thin and we could hear the adjoining room's tv but they didn't play it very late. Overall I would highly recommend this Hotel for the price
"A pleasant stay in this friendly hotel"
The lobby is basic but I consider the room five-star with spacious and contemporary interior. It is located in a working class residential area, away from the tourist crowd. For its quality, if it were in a better location it may charge a much higher rate. It is still conveniently located; I could walk to the Tarragona or Espanya metro station in about 10 minutes, or just a short taxi ride to La Rambla. The front desk people were very hospitable. We had breakfast in the lobby restaurant and a couple items were not fresh; need to improve. I will certainly consider this hotel in my future visit.
This is a great hotel, really well priced, clean, comfortable beds, decent sized rooms and very helpful staff. Will definitely stay again. The location is perfect, quiet and close to the central metro station.
Great hotel, very modern and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Not far from the metro to get into Barcelona and close to some beautiful museums and a spectacular avenue filled with waterfalls !! The only gripe is the cleaners where noisy in the morning, talking loudly in the corridor and letting doors slam. They should consider people who didn't want to get up at 8am. Other than that I would recommend it.
