Located in the Sants-Montjuic district, between Calle Consell de Cent and Calle Béjar, the hotel is a few metres away from the underground station of Plaza España, in the oldest and most outstanding Fairs area of Barcelona. It is also one of the areas with the longest shopping tradition in the city, down the buzzing main street of calle Creu Coberta (the old “Carretera de Sants”).
Very well communicated with all city motorways, the hotel is just a few steps away from the main train and coach station of Barcelona-Sants.
"Good Base for Tourists"
A pleasant hotel, located in a residential area of the city. The surrounding area is busy with locals during the day, but quiet a night. Rooms are well appointed, and not too tired, although some bathroom grouting needs refreshing. Unfortunately no kettle on the room, so no early morning coffee!! Easy access to local under ground, mainline station -about 5-10 minutes walk. Close the former bullring which is now a shopping / eatery centre. There is also a good supermarket there for emergencies......wine, etc, but be aware screw tops are not the norm. Easy access to fountain show which is spectacular day and night. In summary, convenient, clean and good value
"5pv:n loma elokuussa"
Varasimme 4 yötä tästä hotellista, johon kuului aamiainen. Hotelli sijaiti rauhallisella alueella, lähellä pieni minimarket. Lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä nähtävyyksiä, puisto, metroasema ja Arena-ostoskeskus monineen ravintoloineen. Hotellihuone oli siisti ja moderni. Hinta-laatusuhde oli kohdillaan. We booked 4 nights in this hotel. Breakfast was included. Hotel was located in peaceful place and there is a little market nearby. It takes 5 minutes to walk to a park, metro station or shopping centre Arena where is various restaurants. Near the hotel you can also go sightseeing. Hotelroom was clean and modern. Quality-price ratio was correct.
"Great hotel at great location"
We booked this hotel for a 1 week stay end of August - early September. It was a great place with modern, clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows and the breakfast was worth the money. We had a room with a nice terrace and a large bathroom with shower and bath. The reception staff is very friendly and they make great efforts to serve you in any foreign language. The room was available a bit earlier than expected, it is always nice after a trip that you can get your room immediately. The location is near the Barcelona Arena shopping mall, and is well connected with bus and subway to any part of the city. It is quiet and clean and I would for sure consider this place again at any future visit to the city of Gaudi.
"Modern hotel "
I liked this hotel!! 5 minute walk if that to the plaza espana, where you can hop on the tour bus! If you want meals the top floor of the arena has lovely restaurants and a gorgeous view! We are a young couple - late 20's and maybe wish we had stayed more nearer the night life. However, If your only here for sightseeing, some good food, sangria and a comfy place to sleep - this is the place for you!
"Pestana Arena hotel-Barcelona"
Booked for an overnight stay after a cruise. arrived at 11am expecting to leave bags and return later in day. We were admitted immediately into a large modern unit with our own balcony, sun-beds and jacquzzi. A very short walk to Metro stations and Plaza d'Espanya. Prior to our cruise we had stayed for several nights at another Barcelona hotel which was surrounded by a large number of tapas bars and other eating places. We did not search for along time but found the immediate surrounds of the hotel were not as inviting. We decided to eat at the hotel and were very pleased with the quality and the service of our meal. Would recommend the hotel to our friends.
