"Very very nice room."
Spent two nights here and had a deluxe room on the first floor. The advantage of that was being able to walk out of my room onto a small sunny patio area. The bed was very comfortable, and in particular I liked the bathroom and the very clever space-saving design of the shower cubicle. The lobby bar was a bit too 'hushed' for my liking - maybe the background music needs to be just a bit louder to make people talk at ease, but the staff were very helpful and efficient, and the location is next to Tiergarten and convenient for most other central attractions.
"On Embassy Row."
This hotel does not disappoint. Not too far from Tegel airport or Berlin's Hauptbahnhof with the Tiergarten next door, this is a great location. Room is comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is excellent. Staff is courtesy itself.
"Nice hotel, lovely staff"
Stayed here for two nights in a deluxe room. Bright and clean room with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was included in rate and there was a varied menu with plenty of choice. All staff encountered were pleasant and helpful. Dined in restaurant one night. Menu could be better and also a bit overpriced. Location was slightly out of town however number 200 Bus stops right outside so not a huge problem"
Stayed here between Christmas and the new year for four nights. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was great but unfortunately, at the time of the year we were there, the breakfast area was extremely busy which meant that most mornings we were queuing for a table. One morning we were directed to what I assume was a conference room for breakfast which was rather soulless. Not what I expect for a hotel of this standard. I'm sure they could manage this a little better by taking a room number and the guests being seated in the reception area and called over when a table becomes free rather than the disorganised scramble for a table that took place on our first morning. The hotel is in a good position with the bus 200 stop outside of the hotel which takes you to/close to most tourist sites. There are also good restaurants within walking distance. On New Year's eve, we walked along the road towards the park and were able to enjoy the magnificent fireworks not only coming from the Brandenburg Gate but from all over without the crowds - a bonus. Would I stay here again' -yes.
"Stylish hotel in good location"
Stayed in this hotel for 4 days last week . Got a very good deal including breakfast which if it is not included would be very expensive . Hotel is in the diplomatic area near the Tiergarten . It takes quite a while to get to it from airport but while you are at the hotel the 200 bus stops just outside which takes you near all the sites. Hotel is modern and has a number of designer chairs in the lobby including an egg one . The room is not huge but very comfortable including a heated floor in the bathroom which meant your swimming costumes dried overnight . Only quibble would be that it did not have not tea / coffee in the room but there was a minibar which was not too expensive Breakfast was excellent and while there was the usual eggs , bacon and sausage and cereals , there was an excellent choice of cheeses , meats and breads . More unusually there was Bircher muesli , rice pudding and you could even have a glass of sparkling white wine The spa area had a small pool and sauna and steam room. If you were the only ones using it it was great a way to relax at the end of a heavy days sightseeing But I saved the best for last . All the staff were cheerful, proud of their hotel and helpful . They could sell you day tickets for the bus, s and u bahn but even better on our last day when after checking out and leaving our luggage as we had a later flight we said we were going for a walk we were offered the use of a large umbrella as it was threatening to rain . Enjoyed our first visit to Berlin and our stay this hotel
