This family-friendly hotel is located directly beside the port and near the cruise liner dock. Historic Gastown, the Robson Street shopping area, and beautiful Stanley Park can be easily reached on foot. It is only around 5 minutes to bars, restaurants, a bus stop and there is a train station about 10 minutes away by car.
I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The front desk was exceptional!Comment of N. Julie , Canada the 2015-12-16
Was a great hotel. Room was spotless and the service was great. Had an outstanding view of Coal Harbour. Enjoyed a great meal and the staff were very friendly and the service excellent. Can't beat the location.
"Excellence at it's Best. Location and Service !"
Since my last review in October 2016, I have been a guest many times at the Pinnacle Vancouver, but had to wait according to the rules, to write a new review. My company held a corporate all-day event in December 2016 for over 100 attendees. The catering staff was exceptional as was the food served through out the course of the day.The cocktail reception and food was diverse and scrumptious.. All of the staff was so accommodating to our needs, and the sales manager Jennifer went way beyond her call of duty to make sure that our event was a tremendous success. I also attended another corporate event in November 2016 at the hotel across the street but stayed instead at the Pinnacle, which was by far, nicer, cheaper, and with better service ( as judged by me and my colleagues who have stayed at both hotels) The P2B restaurant has a great happy/appetizer hour - great food and drinks at great prices and the breakfast menu is typical West Coast and superb. I stayed there as recent as 4 days ago in March 2017 and can say that the location and service continue to be excellent and second to none, for my trips to Vancouver .
"Great location, friendly efficient staff"
From arrival to departure our stay here was without concerns. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful, especially Alex at reception. The location of this hotel makes for easy access to the seawall for long walks along the harbour and into Stanley Park, downtown for shopping and various excellent restaurants. Room was comfortable and very clean. The hotel restaurant has a great view of the harbour. Reasonably priced for the location of this hotel.
Service was excellent. Just too out dated. And would have been nice to know you have your own parking garage with elevator to the lobby we never would have used the valet parking for 40 dollars a night
"Great location, superb front desk, noisy elevator, stained chaise"
This hotel has a great location in downtown Vancouver - a short walk from the harbour plane terminal, downtown shopping, embassies. The desk staff were excellent hospitality professionals - friendly, efficient, effective and helpful without being obsequious or annoying. They paid attention and were helpful. Top marks. The not so great side was the very noisy elevator - at least I think it was the elevator and not a rusty mothership landing. The bathtub was one of those old, wide, shallow ones - who likes to bathe in those' The room itself was mostly nice. Linens good - white and clean. The room had a chaise by the window - a nice touch and I would have liked to have lounged there with my book, but it had obvious stains from intimate activities, so not appealing. They should either choose the upholstery more carefully or have covers for them that can be properly laundered.
