"Great Hotel Location with Amazing staff"
From the moment we arrived for our stay we realised and were very happy that the hotel was located in an area suitable to access all the sites and areas of Firenze we wanted to visit. The hotel is adjacent to the river Arno with exceptional views from the roadside but in particularly from the rooftop bar. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and would go the extra distance to make your stay an amazing experience. The members of the concierge team we spoke to were totally brilliant with exceptional local knowledge, whether it was recommending a local restaurant for an economy budget to what bus to catch to the railway station, they were brilliant.(You can even buy your bus ticket from them). The hotel breakfast was fantastic too again with a great team who are totally on the ball and will ensure your start to the day is great. Things to consider whilst visiting Firenze (Florence); 1. Get out early to avoid the crowds and madness that arrives once the coach tours arrive. 2. If you want to visit the Uffizi book up in advance it will be difficult to find a time frame once you are there. 3. Explore the streets and restaurants/café off the beaten track, it's fun, safe, quieter and cheaper. There are some great bespoke craft shops. 4. When eating out there is a 2euro charge per person per table added to the bill. This is not a tip. 5. If you want to see Firenze at sunset go to the Piazzale Michelangelo, but get there early ish ahead of the coach tours!! 6. Get a map ahead of your visit and plan your days out. Take comfortable walking shoes. 7. Ponte Vecchio is busy busy busy!! 8. Most public WC charge 1euro to use! 9. Take suncream. 10. As in all big cities be aware of street vendors, performers and who's around you! Enjoy Firenze it is a vibrant busy city and very beautiful at night in particular from on high.
"The best views in Florence"
The hotel is situated in a very convenient and beautiful location in Florence, overlooking the Arno with a view of the Michelangelo statue from our window it couldn't have been more perfect. The rooms are beautiful, and very clean and we had no complaints, only to note if you have long hair take your own haridryer, but the bathroom and other facilities were first class. The breakfast is probably one of the best I have had (and as a frequent world traveller), fresh clean beautifully presented and a wide choice to suit all tastes and requirements. The Hotel Bar on the roof top is to die for. The view are spectacular from all angles, the Michelangelo on on side overlooking the arno and on the other S croce the Duomo and bell tower and the skyline of the whole of Florence. The staff up there are fantastic and look after everything even providing blankets so you can stay and watch the view and sunset. A perfect spot to take a break, beautiful city and gorgeous luxury hotel.
Although the visit was short, the room had a view to die for. Staff were amazing and service was 5 star. Although bar and restaurant were quiet but the service and food were great. It was in area for walking distance for tourist to access most of the site seeing venues. Would recommend and would visit again.
Stayed here just recently and it was a pleasure. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at home. The rooms were a good size and the rooftop bar was amazing for picturesque scenes of Florence. I wanted a hotel that's was in the heart of florencd but wasn't too old and was contemporary and this is it. The downstairs bar was great, all waiters were exceptional! Would definitely be staying here again. Didn't want to leave !
"Great Place to Stay"
I loved it. The staff was nice and very pretty. It was close to all the sights and the breakfast was excellent. They even gave my 3 year old daughter a cool coloring book and coloring pencils. I loved it!
