"Well-located with very good cost-benefit relation"
Located in the midway between Downtown and Mucuripe, right where neighborhoods Iracema and Meireles meet. Book the luxury apartment and ask for a high floor. You will wake up and sleep listening to the ocean and watching the waves hit the sand. Assorted local food at breakfast. Leave room for tapioca made in front of you. Within a walking distance of the Ingleses bridge (Ponte dos Ingleses) at left from where you can watch an amazing sunset, and of the Fish Market (Mercado dos Peixes) at right where you can have fresh fish grilled while watching the colourful sky at dusk.
"Hotel tower that needs an upgrade"
The hotel is in a good location just across from the main beach in Fortaleza, but it's definitely in need of an upgrade. The staff is helpful and some speak English. I was disappointed by the breakfast which was no where near as good and fresh as at other smaller hotels I stayed at on my trip.
"avoid it during raining season!"
From January to June is consider the winter season in Fortaleza and any strong rain in this hotel, you might find millimeters of water on the floor when your back to your room. The traffic jam lift is very frequent as you have just 2 lifts for too many rooms.
"Good, but dated - and no towels"
Dated hotel, that in no way lives up to its "superior" sign by the front door. It really need a little TLC. Location is brilliant right on the beach, if you have beach facing room the views are spectacular, as is the views from the fitness center - on the treadmill you will fell like you are running straight into the Atlantic. Even if you ask for extra towels three times at the front desk, you still have to chase down a chambermaid to get one.
..Basic ... hotel very well located, service ok but basic, breakfast ok bathroom with wc extremely small...noisy air conditioner..good tv room with view overlooking others hotel if you do not ask on time for room overlooking beach. recommended but do not expect to much... in front of the hote nobody swimming on the sea, beach has a barrier of rocks...people friendly on the streets, walking on the street felt much secure and safer than in Rio de Janeiro,,, very close you can find a "feria" or street market nice to visit and shop typical artesanía .
