"Good views, good location, outdated and cleanness needs to improve"
Visited the hotel for business. Good location, very nice view if you get an ocean view room. I recommend the higher floor for the noise of the busy street. Rooms are outdated and cleaning of them need to be improved. Very noisy and old air conditioning units. Beds and matresses are old! Food is ok. Breakfast is good and plentiful.
"Bad Hotel, Unprofessional, Poor Value"
I had the misfortune of staying in this hotel in Feb 2017. The staff here is very unprofessional and unfriendly. I had no wi-fi service for 3 days and they were unable to remedy it. During many days, the hotel had nobody that spoke English, making it impossible to communicate. The hotel has strange policies around guests, even if you pay extra for a room with multiple guests. The rooms are tiny and very outdated. The fitness center was unavailable during my stay. Overall, this is a terrible value and a really disappointing hotel. It would be much better to stay at an apartment or even a 2 star hotel.
"Not good value"
The room was OK, even though the bathroom didn't seem to have any air hole on the ceiling where the humidity could go away through. The location is very good, and so is the breakfast. However, one of the days there was a gay parade on the street, and the hotel staff did not warn us about it (maybe they didn't warn anybody at all). So by the time we got back to it, from a night out with my wife, we could not have access to the parking lot, and not even to a street close by. We had to beg to a traffic officer to let us through a street blocking, which was already fairly far from the property. This pretty much left a really bad impression on us.
"Good Location but not much else"
This Hotel has a good location but as many other people here have experienced it has a lot of things that needs to be improved, Fortaleza has a nice night-time vibe you can walk along the beach front and see all the different venders. Good for a couple of days!
"Well-located with very good cost-benefit relation"
Located in the midway between Downtown and Mucuripe, right where neighborhoods Iracema and Meireles meet. Book the luxury apartment and ask for a high floor. You will wake up and sleep listening to the ocean and watching the waves hit the sand. Assorted local food at breakfast. Leave room for tapioca made in front of you. Within a walking distance of the Ingleses bridge (Ponte dos Ingleses) at left from where you can watch an amazing sunset, and of the Fish Market (Mercado dos Peixes) at right where you can have fresh fish grilled while watching the colourful sky at dusk.
