"Porto Mykonos Hotel Mykonos Island, Mykonos Town 846 00, Greece"
Porto Mykonos Hotel Mykonos Island, Mykonos Town 846 00, Greece this hotel is stone throwing distance from the port, if you dont carry much luggage may walk down from new port.closeby to to the fabrica, the center of mykoos.
The location of this hotel is ideal, takes maximum 10 minutes pleasant walking to centre of Mykonos. The staff are all very friendly. The room we had was basic but did the job for the 4 nights we were there, the view from the rooms are fantastic and the room from the terrace equally so. Breakfast was good only complaint from one of our party was that she preferred a wider cheese choice but I didn't mind the 2 types of cheese. We were very satisfied with our stay and will choose same hotel next time.
"Great place, but the rooms need help"
When we arrived we were pretty stoked...great views, nice pool area. Then we got to our room. Horrible beds...I did not sleep much, when I did sleep I was doing so in great pain. The bathroom smelled terrible and the TV quit working. I hurt so bad the next day, as did our parents in the next room, that we had to complain (I never do this). I will say this: Management took very good care of us. They apologized, and immediately moved us to a nicer room...although the bed was only slightly more comfortable. However, the bathroom was nicer and it smelled much better, and the TV worked. The only downside was the WiFi...did not work over in that part for some reason. Not a huge deal. All in all...nice hotel, just in need of a few upgrades. Staff was very good...food was very good, view was amazing!
"Breathtaking views, Cute Cottage Rooms, and Friendly Staff"
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights/3 days with my wife and it was probably the best choice we could've made after walking through Mykonos Old Port and Town and seeing other options. We stayed in Room #61 and it was a very cute stone cottage with amazing views and outdoor table and chair to relax at night. The bathroom was very small, but then again you're on an island, inside a small stone hut, and these are part of the experience. The pool area is well kept and the staff here is very attentive. The morning breakfast and night time drinks in the lobby area while watching the ships in port and the sun rising and setting was amazing as well. If you're the spoiled pompous type expecting a Ritz Carlton, then this isn't the place for you. In fact, you probably should just stay in Athens and don't come to the islands at all. Mykonos, Santorini, and Naxos... you need to be able to adjust to local amenities and enjoy the local style. We certainly did and this place was amazing and a good value for the high prices in Mykonos (everything here is expensive).
Arrived at hotel and met with attentive welcoming staff. It was too early for check in, we were offered breakfast while we waited for our room. We were then offered their sister hotel, Pietra e Mare for 1 night. Honeymoon suite if you don't mind. We have over 30 years of marriage behind us! The hotel was stunning. Our room had a private outdoor spa, sun lounges and table and chairs. We were also guaranteed a upgrade back at Porto Mykonos Hotel 2 nights. We could not have been better looked after with complimentary transfers. The breakfast was fresh and frequently refreshed. The view was amazing. The position far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but a close 5 min walk to the shops. Moderately priced and perfect for what we wanted.
