"Value for money, European 3-star level"
I had to be in the area for business for a week, and I enjoyed staying in the hotel. Nevertheless, the comfort level isn't much higher than in a French 3-star level. Staff is quite helpful but not really polyglot. The bar closes before PM 11.00...
"Modern and practical plus high level attention"
This is your standard high level locale, in the center of Sao Paulo, you could be in Manhattan except the attention seems to be better. Staff was super attentive, this locale is mostly directed to business people as it is within blocks of most of the larger companies in SP. As such, there is a distinct attention to what an international business traveler needs: fast check in, fast checkout, breakfast open very early, toiletries available on demand, efficient service at all levels. Rooms have outlets compatible with US and other South AMerican countries. Windows DO open, yes I know most US travelers would think this is peculiar, but most everyone else in the world like fresh air (as opposed to AC) when possible. I only stayed 1 day on a quick business trip, but gladly would come back in my next one that is going to be longer. All in all, fully recommend
"Good hotel in Sao Paulo"
I have just spent a few nights at this hotel. The staff are really helpful and professional and some of them speak very good English which is always helpful if you are trying to get information etc. The restaurant puts on a superb breakfast with a huge choice. The room was good except for the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was clean as was the room itself but the bathroom was quite dirty only in the shower area with a lot of fungus between the tiles. The lay out of the bath tub and shower screen was also very odd as you had to climb out of the bath tub almost on top of the toilet because the shower screen only opened on that side. The towels were also really used with permanent stains. Unfortunately what could be a really excellent hotel is let down by this one factor.
Nice rooms, nice staff. Hotel is new and clean. Wifi is good and there's some good restaurants right across the street. Also room was quite large and quiet. Staff spoke good English and were friendly.
"Safe and secure for the price"
In a safe area of São Paulo, the Prodigy hotel is a mid-standard business hotel. Like all non-5 star hotels in São Paulo there has been very little refurbishment over the years. The bathrooms are dirty by EU standards but acceptable for São Paulo. The gym, pool and 'spa' area are very run down and basic - no longer anything like the pictures on the website. That said, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is fine and the Indian restaurant is a good option for the evening meal. As a woman traveling alone I felt safe here.
