"A hotel to return to"
I stayed for 5 nights during a business travel and it was one of the few times where a hotel felt like home. The rooms are very spacious and clean- (only problem is that walls are pretty thin.Expect to hear your neighbours at times!). The rooms has all you need, from slippers to iron and ironboard. The gym facilities are top. Breakfast was always fresh and had a good variety of fresh fruit as well as hot dishes from the kitchen. I ate twice at the restaurant and once in the room and all times the quality of food was excellent. It can be a bit pricey but the area has a lot of places to go out and dine (as well as a mall where you can find anything you want food wise). Staff was very friendly, accomodated whatever I needed. All in all an excellent experience!
"Poor service, poor responsivenes"
they lost the laundry, after followups never responded to emails, and calls. Very poor understanding about english language, its hard time to explain the problems. After house keeping they dont keep the towels in the room. Can you imagine and you are in business trip and internet down for 2 days' Yes it happens at Pullman Olimpia...
"Comfortable Stay and Good Service"
I stayed at Pullman for almost a week for work. We used the Mezannine rooms for an event we had and was quite happy with the quality and service. First about the hotel: the decor is modern and minimalist, and I liked it, very chic. The room has light, the floors are wood, but gotta say, the paintings on the wall in my room were a little strange, a lama with a vw van for a body and a giant hamster. Eclectic art, I guess...Whatever... The toiletries were good, Bigelow brand, and the room and bathroom was impeccable, with a nice sized bathtub. Five stars for the powerful hair dryer in the bathroom! It's rare to find a hotel that has awesome hair dryers and usually a pet peeve when they are cheap or defective. Excellent job, Pullman! The only thing that wasn't great in the room was the blackout curtain. Apparently, it's not long enough to cover the whole window and it has some sticky stuff on the ends, I assume to stick to the walls and keep it put, but it didn't work and the light seeped in anyway. The gym is satisfactory, with three treadmills and two ellipticals and two bikes as well as some weights. The breakfast buffet is very good, with the option of ordering any kind of egg, including benedict, poached, and other goodies. I was pretty happy with that. The morning waiter, Saulo, was always very nice and attentive, helping me remember the names of the regional fruit and getting me a cappuccino. The event we had went very smoothly, with the plenary and break-out rooms and all the A/V equipment functioning properly, good temperature and excellent break and lunch food. I loved the pao de queijo, brigadeiros and Belgian chocolate brownies!!! The internet worked perfectly in all parts of the hotel. I would definitely return to this hotel.
"worst cooperation with hotel staff"
strange modern decoration of lobby and rooms. very bad service and absence of cooperation of front desk staff, horrible service at breakfast: food is not enough, had to wait more than 10 minutes for refills of almost everything when you look at the water tap in the room you can see the age of the hotel, maintenance is not the best hotel idiotic security refused to give our doctor (I was there with a group of 130 people) a master key for the elevator. our keys worked only for our floor. so when the doctor had to check someone, he had to go down to the lobby, wait in line at front desk, ask someone to escort him to the elevator with a master key. after few phone calls to one of the hotel managers we received a confirmation for him for a master key, but by the morning, the decision was changed again.
"Excellent venue for business travelers"
I recently spent 4 days at the Pullman Vila Olimpia and what a pleasure it was. This was a business trip for myself and four other colleagues, two from Argentina and two from U.S. We all had a great experience. My room was large, comfortable and very quiet (better than home actually!). The breakfast buffet was great and extremely convenient. We walked to dinner each evening, around 10 minutes to various nice restaurants. The staff at the Pullman are excellent, very friendly and helpful with our requests for information, early check-in, and late check-out. The Maitre there, Pedro, took great care of us and we will certainly make this our base of operations when we return to Sao Paulo again.
