"Private safe and relaxing"
The hotel was beautiful and very well kept up. Lovely friendly staff. The pool area is very nice. Drinks and food were fabulous and the staff there accommodated every need and more. Very private beach. Beautiful view.
"A picturesque hotel on a cliff overlooking ocean"
This is a great place to stay. It has a very open architecture (open bars, restaurants and front desk). Rooms are large, many with ocean view. They have a OK beach, but great pools. The front desk service could use improvement. The restaurant service is excellent and food is very good and relatively modest in cost. Their bar selection is somewhat limited.
"Delight for a Short stay"
We stayed at this hotel for a family wedding -- Our room was lovely with a tiny balcony and a nice sea view. However, you need to tae two elevators to get to the pool/beach area and from the room hike up stairs to the restaurant. Try not to forget anything in your room! I had read reviews that were not great about the restaurant. But we had breakfast there 4 mornings and it was fine, although not terribly economical. Only the last morning the service was horrendous -- and we did have a lovely dinner there one evening. Drinks and food at the pool bar were fabulous and pool attendants plumped up big pillows and spread out towels like they were welcoming royalty --very nice. Check-out was excruciating, however -- lots of photocopying and signing and whatever while cab to airport was waiting...The place is great if you don't want to leave -- there is NOWHERE to walk to and cabs are expensive. But for a short stay it is a delight.
"Beautiful Acapulco with terrible front desk"
The hotel was very much to my expectations, the view is incredible, the seaside has a beautiful and wide beach. The room was excelent, and the amenities were very nice (tasty chocolates!). However the attention received by one of the concierges named Oyuky Aranza was terrible. She is the most rude person I have ever encountered in high class hotels. I don't understand how such a fine hotel could employ so incompetent people.
"Wonderful Stay in a more private ambience"
I just spent 4 days at the Quinta Real in Acapulco. The hotel is very nicely situated in a very private development which allows for a more secluded small hotel feel versus other larger ones such as the Princess which used to be Fairmont. The service was absolutely excellent, all that you would expect from this boutique style hotel. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and views are stunning. Our room was very nice although it did seem a little dated. However, the service, location, views and food definitely make up for any other details. The one thing I did miss was a good gym. Even though we went running along the Diamante roads alongside the Mayan Golf Course, I would really like this hotel to have a decent gym which it lacks. Always room from improvement. Even so I would definitely return
