"Great location but rooms but not what we expected!"
We stayed here in the New Year for a 3 day break! We had blooded a 'superior' double room which was very small and was meant to have a 'city' which it certainly did not have, there was no view!! There were lots of little niggles, tea bags not replenished, bath towels that were the hand towels, tissue box empty and not topped up until our last night. The room was a bit tired and needed a bit of TLC!! I was also shocked at some of the prices of food and drink! For instance breakfast a bit steep at 35 Euros a head and a gin and tonic in roof top bar 22 Euros!! Having said all this the staff were very helpful and pleasant and the location by the marina was lovely!
"Good location but poor room"
The hotel is located in a great position and you can walk from there to every location in Cannes. The room view was fantastic but it was really warm and the heating caould not be regulated. The ligting of the room was too sofisticated and not easy to be used.
"One of the best in Cannes"
Perfect location for meetings and conference as iit is very close to the venue. There are many popular restaurants which provide great meals in the area The services are good. There is a famous spa connected to the hotel.
"Not as good as expected."
When arriving at this hotel, in the rather luxury lobby, the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, however the room was rather disappointing. We did book the cheapest room at the time but it still wasn't cheap. The room was rather old and tatty and out of date. it was extremely tiny, 2 dead flies squashed on the ceiling and nail varnish on the bottom of the bath. The bed was small and rather uncomfortable, with what seemed to be cheap and uncomfortable pillows. (however housekeeping service was very good) I booked this hotel because we wanted to use the spa, however this was disappointing. The indoor/outdoor pool is a bit too cold, i appreciate it is winter however the spa stays open so it should be accommodating. The steam rooms smelt very strongly of sweat (most steam rooms I have used have a nice aroma) It was also extremely busy so not able to get in to the relaxation room. we spend about 10 minutes in the spa realising that it wasn't really usable for all of those reasons. We booked a table for 2 at the 360 restaurant (which is actually a 180 view) We couldn't have a drink at the bar due to a private function which was going on all weekend, so we couldn't even use one of the facilities that made us want to book a room at this Hotel, so our money was wasted. The food and wine at the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast was very expensive, £30 per person, although it was a vast range of food and with lovely staff.
"One night stay for business"
Perfect hotel and as well for a business trip as for a period of rest with the benefit of the location and the thalasso center. The staff and the service are at the top. Building, rooms and deco are of the best level. First stay for me there, but not the last.
