"I'm here almost every week"
Great hotel - fantastic location, top class service and food and a beautiful art-deco decor. I stay here practically every week and it's gotten better over time. Although I was on a business trip - they made the extra effort to entertain my 4 year old and had a special treat for him everyday. I keep going back...
"Great space and good lunch..."
Here for a business event, superbly organised and, whilst not resident, we took advantage of the facilities between meetings. BEST mashed potatoes I’ve EVER had and the Schnitzel was excellent; as with all Czechs, superbly customer focussed staff. As to the hotel, I do appreciate people like modern hotels and maybe I will try the Blu one day, however, I do like the older style ‘boutique’ hotels as they have loads of character.
"Great hotel, Good location"
Wonderful hotel! Very nice decor and the rooms are fresh, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Centrally located and walking distance to shopping area and their attractions. Nice restaurant and breakfast was very elaborate.
"The Best Radisson Blu Hotel I've visited so far"
My father and I decided to go to Prague for my 23rd birthday, especially to see the Art Nouveau exhibition at the Obecní Dum - a wonderful place for music, art, food and alcohol admirers. When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist - she was courteous and professional as she apologised for our room was not ready. However this was immediately rectified by Jana, one of the managers at the hotel who ensured guests were shown high quality treatment. She most certainly has for us as she told us to order a complimentary breakfast as we waited for our room to be ready. We were both exhausted from the horrid sleeper train journey from Kraków to Prague - advice, never book it unless it is your last resort. She even gave us a free upgrade from a standard room to a Junior Suite with Twin Beds, once she learned it was to be my birthday the next day. They didn't just stop there with their generousity. When my dad and I returned to our room after venturing around the city there was a surprise waiting in our room - a chocolate cake with my name on it, a complimentary bottle of Alcron Prosecco, chocolates from a local chocolatier and a trio of beautiful roses as well as Rose petals over our beds that spelt "Happy B-Day". I was thrilled! The food was exquisite, an absolute food lover's ideal haven to indulge. One dish I adored trying was their club sandwich - delicious, high in flavour and light as well. On the night of music birthday, we tried getting into the famous and popular Alcron Restaraunt for my birthday meal but found out that patrons had to book a month in advance to have a table reserved! Regardless, the head chef made us one of his Alcron specialties as the Amuse Bouche to our meal - although I couldn't recall the name of the dish, it was divine! The kitchen staff place every ounce of their skill and craft into making every fantastic dish more than worthy to be praised. The bar has a great range of liqueurs, spirits, beers and malts. My dad immediately bought himself a Dalmore Cigar Malt with his Cuban cigar he purchased and enjoyed outside in the enclosed garden; he even tried an espresso martini! I throughly enjoyed their cocktails - the ingenious combination of flavours were extraordinary, suitably served in their eccentric presentations. On the day of my birthday the very manager of the hotel checked on us and even asked to make me a birthday drink. He was even ready to take off his suit jacket! I politely declined, utterly surprised, I asked him for a simple bottle of still water as I didn't want to impose on him - I still appreciated his generous offer. Like Jana, he and all the other staff were more than willing to go out of their way and run an extra ten miles to make our experience that grander. You could say the Radisson Blu Alcron became our holiday. Our getaway my dad and I rightfully needed as well as felt entitled to. We were even seen off by the manager after we paid and left for our flight home. If you ever plan a trip to Prague, at least make a visit or even stay (absolutely worth it) at the marvellous Radisson Blu Alcron. I will definitely make a second visit to the city as well as to the best hotel of Prague!
"Great week-end in a luxurious hotel"
Radisson Blu is fantastic. First of all, when you enter inside it you will find it faboulous and you will be amazed by the great atmosphere that is inside it. Then the staff will receive you and you will immediately discover that they are a family and will try to accomodate you in every way (i.e. offering prosecco, preparing asthonishing surprises in you room). It has been great and we will come back there the next time we will go to Prague.
