"Hear everything from neighboring rooms and get stuck in elevator"
I spent one night in transit with the child before going early to the seaside. Although everything is very luxurious inside and the staff is very polite, once in the room you could hear absolutely everything from the neighboring rooms and they could hear you too. This includes talking on normal tone in the room and all the noises from the bathroom, if it were cardboard walls. Add to this the fact that the card from the camera does not work in all elevators and find yourself in the elevator to climb or descend to other floors than desired, that the outdoors and indoors swimming pools are not allowing children after 6pm in the summer and having very noisy groups at the breakfast tables looking like people who partied all night and still want to do it at breakfast. Definitely not going again, even to spend one night only.
"Excellent location but very noise floor."
The hotel is very popular and well located, the rooms are spacious, the architecture is superb and the price is reasonable. Unfortunately we experienced a lot of noise on our floor during the two nights we stayed at the hotel. The reception desk did what it could but the noise persisted. It is important to ask for a quiet room away from the elevator and noisy activities.
"Comfortable stay and great location"
Cannot fault the location, right in the centre of Bucharest with valet parking for 130 Lei a day if you drive there. 10-15 minute walk to old town, nice tranquil setting in the lobby etc. Pool was great to use and free for guests. However, this is where my first complaint exists. To get to the pool from Radisson Blu you go out a fire escape on the 1St floor, into a service lift which takes you to the independent gym / pool entrance. There is absolutely no security to this at all. Anyone who knows it is there could let themselves into the hotel and have access to the rooms without having to know any codes or show a room key which was very unnerving with a young baby when safety is paramount. I think something needs to be done about this urgently. Also, a small thing in the room which we didn't bother bringing up was that the plug of the bathroom sink did not stay closed so for sterilising our babies bottles this did not work! This appeared to be down to poor maintenance rather than it simply not meant to stay down. Small issue though and maybe they would have fixed it had we time then. Lastly, no toast on the breakfast buffet, really'! All in all, a perfectly acceptable hotel and stay.
"Terrible and rude hotel stuff"
Good location but reception and treatment of the client very poor. It is inadmissible that coming late afternoon my room is still not ready I had to wait an hour before they gave me the key and towels were still missing. Then, someone came to ask me while I was on the phone (bothering me) asking what I was doing here without saying hello and excuse me. They should learn some politeness and basic classes about how to treat the clients. I have been received better in hostels. As well it is shameful to put in the room a bottle of water 5 euros. And translation to the airport is twice more expensive than a normal airport taxi.
"Very good hotel "
I used Radisson twice in the last couple of months. On both occasions I have been very impressed. The hotel is located close to the Centre of the city. The check in procedure has been very quick, efficient and the staff was very pleasant and trying hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The facilities of the hotel are at par with the best Bucharest hotels. The lobby area is spacious and comfortable for enjoying your evening with some friends or business associates. The room is spotless and the bed very comfortable.
