"Luxury hotel in the center of Bucharest"
Apparently celebrities have stayed here, and I can see why. This hotel has everything...bars, a gym, restaurants, 24/7 room service. The rooms are big, spotless, and comfortable. Huge breakfast in the morning. Amazing service. It was just what I needed to take it easy after an 8 hour tour of historical Romania and Parliament. I wish I could have stayed more than one night.
"A luxury resort hotel and apartments in the centre of Bucharest; do business or just have fun"
If you come to Bucharest for business you really should stay at the Radisson Park Inn. The hotel rooms are spacious and they are tastefully decorated; but you can also chose serviced apartments in the Park Inn section of the resort. These are simpler in style but have three rooms or more and you can cook if you wish. In between the two larger buildings there is a very spacious open air courtyard with gardens paved areas, pool and a huge spa/jacuzzi all beautifully appointed. The jacuzzi is open to the air and heated very well with a large hot water fountain (like the top floor at the famous 'Bath Spa' complex in south west England). A very good thing about the design is that the courtyard and spa (and adjacent gym) are all within the walled confines of the two larger buildings. It’s like a resort in the centre of the city, on one of the best avenues in Bucharest. The cleaning of the hotel and apartments throughout is impeccable (Emilia and Cristiana did my apartment); the linen and soft furnishings are all very high quality as are the beds (incredibly comfortable; great sleep) paintings, furniture, screens, and equipment (actually I thought the optional multi-coloured light in the bedroom was amusing) Wifi is free and fast. The laundry service is very efficient; it must be one of the fastest in Europe. The staff come to collect for you at almost any time of day or night and they deliver the laundry and they do not make mistakes. At both entrances there are doormen, porters concierge. They make you feel welcome, understood and safe. Liviu (head doorman at the Radisson entrance) has the good judgment and discretion of a very experienced front of house doorman and security officer. He guided me carefully about taxis, cars, and directions. The reception staff have excellent english (and many other languages), they are rapid and they make every effort to find solutions to questions and any problems you encounter. They do not ever say 'not possible' (which is an answer you often get in other parts of central and eastern Europe). I had many appointments, meetings, social dinners and other occasions to attend, participate in and actually to organise and I had research tasks and calls to make. Every time I had a question or I did not understand something, the staff helped. I really enjoyed the main bar as a place to meet with my colleagues, meet other people and find out what was going on in town and find answers to my questions. The main bar, the Bla Bar is spectacularly decorated and is sits below a vaulted ceiling and looks out to one of Bucharest's famed church steeples. It is a splendid view. The atmosphere is friendly sophisticated and modern. The staff who I met and who always greeted us cheerfully, and with the famous Romanian quick-witted humour, made my stay a really happy time. I always enjoyed arriving at the Bla Bar area. Annamaria Stoica is the courteous and very efficient manager, Annamaria Palade and Andreea are a kind and always smiling presence, Nicoletta (Principessa) is always cheerful and helpful with bookings, directions and venues. Valentin, Ciprian, Silviu, Christian, Cristina, Cristiana, Stefania, Alina and are all excellent bar waiters and Jack is a great barman who seems to know everyone and every venue and location in Bucharest (always ask Jack). Excellent cocktails and the bar staff will make your drink exactly how you like it to be prepared. There are three excellent restaurants where everything is fresh and skilfully presented. "Prime" offers very high quality French international cuisine, chef Lazar and Maitre'D Mihaela create an elegant but friendly atmosphere. The Citta cafe is authentic Italian (about which the Romanians know everything), great soups pastas and the best pizza in town. Andreea is the head waiter; very efficient and very good humoured. Chef Stephan and Maitre D' Sorin run the Sharkia Bar and the restaurant above offering great breakfasts and room service to the apartments. I had fresh fish perfectly cooked and it was hot on arrival at my apartment. The Park Inn upstairs restaurant opens onto the pool area and would be very pleasant in summer. The main breakfast room at the front of the hotel adjacent to the Black Bar is huge and caters to every possible cultural requirement. Service is efficient. There is a very posh breakfast room and bar on the 8th floor for 'business' guests and Mona knows exactly what everyone has for breakfast even if you don't know it yourself. Wherever you are in the hotel the staff are courteous and friendly. They are confident with foreigners and they help you. They find solutions. They encourage you to enjoy Bucharest. The Park Inn apartments are within the Radisson resort and they have their own reception area. Corina, Raluca, Valeria, Cristina, Cristiana and Teodora were always a great help. The very senior managers (I met Larisa Titulescu) frequently spend time in the reception and entertainment areas to observe and ask guests politely whether they are being looked after well. And to be very clear, the quality of what is offered here, at the price, is exceptional value. I visited three other hotels and they were good. Stay at the Radisson Park Inn; it is simply better.
"Beautiful hotel in a great location"
My daughter and I stayed at the Radisson Blu in July last summer. The hotel is beautiful and modern. Pools and garden were awesome, and the pool bar was open late and serving delicious drinks. There was a Casino, but I did not check it out. There were multiple restaurants and bars in the hotel. Rooms were awesome. Very modern and luxurious, and beds were really comfortable. My daughter loved the rainfall shower head in the bathroom. Front desk was helpful and polite. I also used the airport transfer service from the hotel, and they were great. Would definitely come back!
This is a modern and luxurious hotel with a wide selection of bars, restaurants and an excellent pool/gym. The rooms/beds were extremely comfortable and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff were helpful in recommending excursions
