"An excellent hotel in Warsaw"
The Radisson BLU was a great place to stay in downtown Warsaw. It was comfortable and conveniently located (making all of our destinations easily accessible). The staff was helpful and courteous. There was ample lighting in the room and it was easy to close the double curtains (for light reduction).
Nice, spacious lobby, impersonal but efficient and informative check inn. Upgraded to business class upon arrival and the room was large, had a coffee machine, iron, complimentary water, bathrobe and slippers. 😊 Nice spa, pool, good gym and sauna. Breakfast was great. Lobby bar-really expensive for Polish standard but then again the service was really good 👍😊 The only negative was the "taxi service" outside of the hotel.... The driver charged 40 zloty to take us to the old town.... When we went back by official taxi company we paid 11 zloty!!! I think that a hotel who is as good as this one, shouldn't be known for ripping off their guests by their own car service! Otherwise - great stay! 😊 Would stay here again!
"Reasonable place, nice view, 1/2 hour walk to old town area"
We were put in a special disabled room with a Queen bed, after being first placed in a twin room despite our booking a Queen. It actually was excellent, with a very nice view, large bedroom and large bathroom, tall ceilings and a spacious feel. There is a shopping mall nearby and the area is good for business travelers. Buffet dinner was good, with tuna and warmed gluten free bread provided when I made my dietary issues known. Breakfast was excellent, including some tasty home made items. The drapes crossed over well for light blocking, there were good mirrors and a foldout ironing board, a good-sized TV and plenty of hanging space. The bathroom comps were good, good wifi and safe, free bottled water, and an ice machine and shoe machine on each floor. Towels and hand towels were good and were located well for access. The bar fridge was locked (so could not be used for personal items), there was no shaving / mirror, and the water-saver tap at the basin was a problem. Overall, a very good hotel with helpful staff.
"Continuing solid Radisson tradition"
We spent a few nights at this hotel and really enjoyed it. Room very spacious, clean, pleasant to be in. It's a tad more expensive than other Warsaw hotel of this range but you know it's Radisson and we don't mind a bit of pretension :) breakfast delicious, definitely worth the money spent! Would definitely go back!
"Friendly place with a room for improvements"
In todays business world , this a relatively 'small' hotel, only 10 floors. Well located and close to public transportation. Very friendly staff , ready to assist. The room , comfortable , with a bit ' patina', bathroom without tube , but a roomy walk in shower. Nice breakfast buffet.
