Good hotel located at convenient place; good rooms and food. I had booked business room but once I reached it was not and when I checked with reception they apologise and upgraded me to junior suite which was even better.
"A relaxing week in Warsaw."
I was in town attending a work conference and decided to choose the Radison Blu Centrum as my home base. My wife and I were very pleased with our selection. The Radison Blu Centrum is an excellent hotel. The staff is well trained, happy to make any recommendations needed, and they all understand the importance of customer service. Our room was very comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast was huge, tasty and included in the rate. Perhaps the best quality of the hotel is its proximity to the old town. In about five minutes, you can be walking along the cobblestone streets looking for another fabulous find. Every block has a wonderful little coffee shop and a selection of excellent restaurants to choose between. From classic Polish cuisine to sushi, to steaks and numerous eclectic hot spots, it's hard not to find what you're looking for. We never ate a bad meal. Excellent fresh pastas are common place and their soups are fantastic. As you tour the many souvenir shops, simply preview the menus along the way until you find what it is you're looking for. The Poles love good food and a bad apple is quickly replaced with the next up and coming award winner. I only wish I had more time to explore Poland's treasures. We will be back.
Was in Poland in early Nov 2014 with my elderly father and a childhood friend and her son. We chose the Radisson Blu due to it's central location and prior reviews here. We were not disappointed. The staff is friendly, accommodating and supportive. They speak English well in all realms - desk, check in, operator and restaurant staff. The room / suite was well appointed and spacious. The included breakfast buffet was simply amazing and food fresh and abundant. Have no issues. The only item I would reference is the rooms are not exceeding well lit. This was not a major issue overall but my dad has a sight handicap so this was a little disorienting at first.
"I'm not sure what happened, but not the best experience"
Radisson Blu is actually one of my favourite hotel chains to stay at, in fact I am a GOLD customer with their loyalty programme. The Radisson Blu Centrum Hotel in Warsaw was either having a really bad day, or something just wasn't right, but it all started from my check in, and it went down hill from there. During my check in, I added my loyalty number, as I didn't put this on the original booking - following a number of grumbles, this was added. As a gold customer, we would typically be given a room upgrade if available and maybe a bowl of fruit. No room upgrade was given and no complimentary gift. Entering the room, there were chips of the wall, but overall the room was pretty standard. Just out of curiousity, I rang the hotel on my mobile to enquiry about rooms, and there were still rooms available at the level where I should have received an upgrade. Anyway, I ordered room service - it arrived promptly, but it burnt in some sections and cold - I could only think that it had been left there for a while. The bed was great though - I had a lovely sleep (which is why I'm giving this a 3 star in place of 2). The next morning, I checked out and gave these comments to the manager. It felt like it was just a courteous, but I didn't want a review to be a surprise. I think this Radisson has a lot of potential, but it really let me down on this trip.
"Fabulous Inner City Warsaw Hotel"
I found the hotel very comfortable, clean with wonderful hospitality. The services and facilities were of a very high standard and the hotel catered well for people of all ages. The breakfast was plentiful offering a wide selection of food catering for all tastes and vegetarians.
