"Good location Business and Pleasure Hotel"
The hotel is centrally located, so it can be used for business or pleasure about 15mins car ride from the airport. It is 20mins walk to the old town which is a must see or 10mins walk in the opposite direction to the nearest shopping center and main train station. The hotel has large spacious rooms with tea/coffee facilities in the room. Good wifi connection throughout the hotel. The staff are professional, smiling is not there strong point but they try and be as helpful as possible. Bedding, cushions were sooo comfortable, had a well needed sleep after night flight for my short business trip.
"Everything excellent, apart from one thing..."
This summer, I had the pleasure to stay three times in this hotel, and it has been a long time (8 years) since I have stayed there, so I had a good comparison to my earlier business travels to Warsaw. To sum it up: the hotel is in great shape, seems to have been renovated and lacks nothing that a business traveler would expect. Some reviewers here have criticized the quality of the breakfast, which I cannot confirm. Breakfast is excellent and highly recommendable. Also, the rooms are very tidy, the beds are comfy and the bathroom is excellent. There are worse hotels in the same price category in the business district. It is of course also in walking distance from the main business buildings in Warsaw (not the old town, though, this is some 20 mins walking). Last, but not least, staff is very friendly and has immediately reacted when the minibar was not filled up that one time (Coca Cola was missing and I was craving for one). The one issue, however, which I have now encountered twice, is a little bit of an unusual one. I might be a little picky and sensitive, but some hotels have the problem that if they do not let occupant open windows, but fully rely on air condition and internal ventilation, rooms begin to slightly smell after the years. I do not know why other, sometimes much older hotels do not have that problem, and others have. Now, it is not at all bad and totally irrelevant when you go just for a nights rest, but nevertheless, I noticed it and it had an effect on me how I perceived the room. Therefore, without that, I would have given everything five star rating.
"A High Quality Hotel in Warsaw Centrum"
Location, quiet and comfortable rooms, and gracious hospitality by the staff stand out at this property in central Warsaw. Restaurants, conveniences, and tourist sites are a nearby making this Radisson a fine location whether on business or pleasure. Although a stretch, Old Town is a pleasant walk on a nice day. You may want to return by taxi. In all ways the Radisson Blu is an excellent choice. I am glad I stayed here and definitely would return.
"Location and good breakfast"
Stayed here on business for 2 nights Business meetings the room was fantastic and very clean Bed was comfortable. Buffet breakfast lots to offer and very tasty too. In the lobby there are only a few seats. Most places belong to the cafeteria. Sitting for coffee the service very disappointing, cold coffee and every 2 minute they arrived Check whether I finished wanted to take the cup of coffee and we are still sitting and drinking Within 10 minutes seating came to me 5 times Swimming pool and sauna on the -1 floor I loved Free Internet The hotel staff spoken English
"A Pleasant Stay in the Business District"
I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a sightseeing trip, in a room on the seventh floor; there are 3 styles of rooms available here, Scandinavian, Maritime, and Italian; mine was a maritime, which means blue walls, paintings of ships, and shams and bedcovers with a navy star pattern. The room was nicely decorated, with an LG flat-screen TV, telephone, plenty of outlet plugs. A minibar and complimentary tea-making facilities (kettle, glasses, tea bags, instant coffee and hot chocolate) were available. Toiletries and shower cap were supplied, along with hairdryer and telephone in the bathroom. An iron and board were cleverly stowed away in a vertical cabinet. Shoe horn and polish cloth were also provided, although curiously, no slippers or bathrobe, which I'd expect of a hotel at this level, even if my room was not an 'executive' room. I found the bed and linen exceedingly comfortable, with overstuffed king-size pillows, and down alternative comforters. The addition of an undersink mounted speaker in the bathroom, that synchronizes with the TV, was a cute touch; I suppose people want to be able to shower without missing the latest news. I will note though, that the shower uses one of those half-width glass doors as a partition, which is completely ineffective so water splashes all over after you use it. The rest of the services, like 24/7 room service and laundering, were in line with other similar caliber hotels. One nice thing is the free and strong wifi signal; you just log in with your room number and surname. There is a restaurant and a nice looking lobby bar downstairs, although I didn't partake. In the basement level is a fitness center, with pool and saunas (dry, steam, and infrared); you may want to pack a bathing suit if you wish to use the facilities (the desk will provide a towel and lock for the locker room). Overall, this was a very comfortable stay, with high-end finishes and thoughtful details included in the room; but I don't know that I'd consider it a true 5-star hotel, because it seems so overwhelmingly business-like. Staff was always professional, if a bit sterile. The location was decent enough; be aware that the maps of Warsaw make the city seem small, where that is actually far from the truth ' a walk to Stare Miasto from the Radisson Blu will be a minimum of 25min. For the right price, this can be a good place to stay in Warsaw.
