This is one of my favourites hotels in Sandton. Each time I am at the Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel I have a feeling of being at home or at a family place. Staff is very, very helpful and friendly. Management is caring about the customers. Inquiring if the room is ok, the food is tasty, etc, etc. Housekeepers always ready for any occasion when requested. Rooms are very spacious, well equipped, basic amenities and, above all, super comfortable. It's a Radisson Blue. What else would you expect'

Clean and nice and you got what you need for o good nights sleep. But service was sometimes very slow Nice breakfast with different fruits and bread and muffins and the possibility to get homemade omelettes. Kind atmosphere
"Location and Service"
We were there 2 nights at the end of December. Check-in was easy and fast..The room was big enough, clean and comfortable. The shower has no door and is open in the bathroom. Location is perfect across the gautrain station, very easy to go into town or to the airport. Breakfast was good. Service was perfect everywhere contrary to some review I have seen in other post.
Great location and very convenient to travel around with the gautrain station and bus terminal just opposite the hotel. Walking distance to the sandton city shopping and Nelson Mandela square. Rooms are excellent with good amenities and the service great. The restaurant serves great food. Very modern and upmarket hotel.
You can easily notice that the atmosphere at the hotel is cold and unfriendly. The thing that made me upset is that we asked the hotel to book a taxi for us that could take us to the airport. They delivered a taxi for us that they claimed that is what a taxi form the hotel. More than twice the price of a normal taxi but we decided to take it get a good reliable taxi. When the taxi came we jumped in immediately since we were in a hurry. When we drove to the airport we noticed several things: the taxi was very old and partly rusty, it had no rear-view mirror, it had no speedometer and the driver drove very fast. It is very bad management not to have control of what taxi cars the personnel is bringing to you. If this works in such a bad way I am convinced that other things also are miss-managed. f you need a taxi, use Uber instead. Less than half the price compared to the hotel price if you select a more luxary car from Uber.
