"High level Business Traveller Hotel - Excellent by all standards"
I had never stayed at a Radisson Hotel before and I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent, friendly and competent staff (with one exception - a lady - at the hotel front desk). Comfortable rooms with all the amenities you can think of including wearable bathrobes. True my room was defined a "Suite" but I have paid much more for a "normal" room than I did at the Radisson. This is not a hotel for tourists that want to visit Amsterdam as it is very out of the way. Besides the hotel restaurant, Schipol has 2 mention worthy restaurants. I don't want to seem overly enthusiastic but I have no negatives to mention and will return when i will have to stay in Schipol again.

I have probably stayed in over twenty hotels in the lat two months, and finally I arrived at the Radisson Blu at Schiphol Airport. In its own right the hotel is fab, great rooms, nice gym, super bar and restaurant and reliable and easy to use airport shuttle. On that basis alone, definitely stay here - you will be pleased with your choice. Above that though, I can honestly say that I cant remember ever having met such am amazingly friendly, happy bunch of people working in a hotel. Even the transfer bus driver was friendly and welcoming - where did I ever see that anywhere before '' Nothing is too much trouble here, any request, any help, everything comes with pleasure and a smile. The reception staff on arrival seemed to have been waiting for me personally to arrive, and greeted me warmly explaining all the facilities of the hotel, and how to find my way around. I went to the bar for a drink on both nights of my stay and on my first visit the bar team were delighted I had chosen to join them for a drink (free nibbles with it which was great too!) and on the second night, they remembered me, my order and seemed to have reserved a perfect spot just for me -as if they had preempted i would want to come and join them ! Breakfast was similarly spectacular - simply the nicest ever waitress getting me my order freshly cooked from the kitchen, refilling my coffee (heavenforbid it would get unfresh) and telling me how nice my jumper was ! Really, Mr Mark Mosselman - your whole team are an absolute joy - and you have a brilliant hotel. In fact, if Carlsberg made airport hotels, surely this would be one of the best in the world !! Well done - will stay here everytime I come to Amsterdam - thanks for looking after me so handsomely - you are a great bunch !
"The fav when I go Amsterdam "
This hotel is my fav when we go to Amsterdam, really spacious rooms, upgrade options at a really reasonable price, and breakfast is as good a Dubai. It. Is around a 10 min free shuttle from the airport which is handy. Would highly recommend and the staff are great.

Comfortable and convenient for business purposes (close to the airport). The shuttle to the airport (shared with other hotels and services) has a low frequency. The rest of services can be highly rated.
"Watch out for early check-in fee"
When I made the booking I asked for early check-in. The reply email made no mention of a 30 EU fee or subject to availability. Because we left early we did not stay in the room 1 full day. When we arrived from a 9.5 hr flight and suffering from time change I did not like being surprised and having no choice. If I had known I would not have booked this hotel. Other than that the staff is very friendly and helpful. The free shuttle does take about 1/2 an hour because of its stops.
