"Centrally located hotel"
We enjoyed a 2 night weekend break here staying in a 5th floor standard room overlooking the road. The hotel is only a 15 walk from the station and is located along the canal. The location is excellent, 5 mins from the red light district, 10 minutes from Dam square with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. There was even a small shop opposite the hotel. The hotel itself was very comfortable, friendly staff and well equipped comfortable rooms with a neo expresso machine and minibar. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food, although it gets very busy if you go down between 9 -10am and yiou end up having to find a table. If you want to stay in a nice, central hotel without breaking the bank, then I would recommend the Radisson Blu. Get a room with an outside window as a lot of the rooms look out over reception.
"Beautiful hotel and good location"
This is a perfect hotel if you want to be in the centre of Amsterdam, but without all the noise. Good location and very clean and good rooms. We stayed in a business room - could't fault it. Highly recommended it, especially if the purpose of the trip is a 'business stay'. Quite and peaceful hotel.
"Conveniently located and beautiful property"
This hotel is a charming place and conveniently located, closer to all the attractions and restaurants. The rooms are tad bigger than the traditional European-box-size hotel rooms and very well decorated rooms. Plus point, this was the only hotel in our Europe trip that had an iron and ironing-table!!!!!!! The property looks like new and is very well maintained.
"Final stop before home "
What a place to finish a European holiday. The hotel was great and the staff were helpful and extremely polite. Especially the Aussie in the restaurant from Wollongong. Sorry couldn't remember your name
"Radisson Blu Amsterdam"
The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful and courteous. It is situated in a quiet area within walking distance of the redlight district. If you have a car expect to pay through the nose to park. Be aware that there are only 14 car spaces which have to be reserved in advanced. I was not aware that space had to be reserved, but the staff were helpful and accommodated my car, for 55 Euros per night. Ouch! Watch your toes walking into the bathroom in your room. There is a step-up which I could not get used to during my 2 day stay. My toes took a beating!
