"Functional and modern hotel"
This is a good and practical option not far from airport. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, wifi works well...and you have a nice pool in the top floor. Breakfast offers good choice. All this for a very competitive price.
"Lovely Hotel. Great Service and everything."
I was there for a weekend conference. I was impressed. Great service, timing, food and everything. Extremely professional staff. The chef was obviously great. Many vegan options too. Only two things that were not great. 1. The size of the spa/sauna ... for a hotel that size it was too small. Also the Steaming Bath is not made of stone or ceramic like everywhere but from white plastic which is definitely not nice. 2. The Cocktail I had at the bar was hard to drink. I think the bartender was new as it was a pretty young boy.
"Clean and Functional"
As with some of the other European Radisson Blu hotels that I have stayed in, the hotel is a landmark building with fantastic architecture, but the interior does not quite match the high standards shown at the exterior - there were problems with the room key and activating the elevators (as did another guest just before me) and the reception area is badly designed and can get very crowded. The reception staff were very helpful and resolved the issue with the elevator very quickly. In the room, the shower was difficult to get to the right temperature (not a problem I would have expected in a modern hotel) and the bed was a little uncomfortable. Overall the room was clean if not the most comfortable and ok for a short stay.
"One night in Frankfurt"
We found this hotel since it was our last day in Germany and we wanted to be close to the airport, which is just fifteen minutes from it. The location is not the city center, but you can reach it easily by train or tram (the tram station is closer). At our arrival, a girl at the lobby wanted us to wait till 2 or 3 pm to get the room (we arrived around noon and were exhausted). Luckily, a nice clerk intervened and solved our problem finding a free and ready room (I wonder why the lady was not as nice). The rooms are nice and clean with a great view. Two shortcomings are the window in the bathroom (if you turn on the light by night you might disturb your partner) and too much carpet (even on the wall). The breakfast couldn't be better. We tried the restaurant and it was also very good. I recommend the spa, very nice and clean. There is a swimming pool and a nudist sauna area (textile free seems to be the rule in Germany). I would suggest the staff should reduce the lights in the sauna area by night in order to enjoy the spectacular view on the city.
"Location Not Fantastic"
Stayed here for Saturday night as a detour from business trip in Bonn. Did not manage to get a upgrade to business class room but instead compensated with free drinks from minibar. The 4 reception counterd here was well staffed as the hotel was expecting huge turnout of guests staying here (apparently there was a football match in between Frankfurt team and Munich Team) As i was only here for 1 night and i arrived pretty late, therefore i did not bother to explore on the public transport as it seems complicated. The botel location was not at the city centre therefore i had to use taxi all the times (which is another expenses). The breakfast area is a bit too small for more than 400+ rooms of guests. Those red sofas in the breakfast area are just irratating when the breakfast hall was full of guests. I find it unpleasant and your movements became unpleasant. Suggest the hotel management to redesign or reorganize the breakfast areas as i find it very difficult to locate the food as they were not placed together.
