"Good but not great"
25 minute queue to check in was not the start to our city break that we had hoped for. No apology for being kept waiting. Breakfast at £13 each was extortionate. Location was ok but about 15 to 20 minute walk to city centre. Bedroom was clean but too warm! Bathroom was nice.
"Short stay "
Second time I've visited this great hotel. Very easy to get to even on foot. I'd suggest a taxi though as it is a bit of a trek from Lime Street. Rooms are comfortable and typical of Radisson Hotel. Breakfast is good. Didn't eat evening meal but menu looks pretty good. Like all Radisson Hotels they do need to sort out a plug socket next to the bed. After all most travellers use their phone for everything and batteries are useless.
"another excellent break "
stayed here for a special weekend, what can you say about this hotel but excellent the staff can not do enough for you . the rooms are quit from the traffic you do not hear it. we visit Liverpool 4 to 5 times a year will be definitely coming back
"One night break in the city."
Visited Saturday night, checked in to find we had a sea view room which was lovely, large bed, spacious room but no stocked mini bar, I'm not sure if it's just superior rooms which are, but each time we wanted a drink we found ourselves ordering room service, would have been much more easier to just get from our in room mini bar. Staff were great, bar was lovely, drinks good. Can't comment on food as we ate out of the hotel. Only fault was limitations of toilet roll, which we ran out of more of less straight away, it wasn't a full roll and we had no spare which I would suggest in future would be a good idea in rooms. Also the front of the hotel did have some rubbish around, which doesn't give off a good impression when arriving, however this isn't the hotels fault, more lazy people who can't use a bin. All in all a good stay, not far from local places and there is a Tesco and Starbucks literally up the road, would I stay again, yes.
"Way better experience "
My second stay at Radisson Blu in Liverpool. My first visit there was not a highlight, but "nearly" everyone deserves a second chance :-) must say that this time it was good. The room have the same feel and look as many of the others Radisson's around, but still fine. Would say that they could do an upgrade on the flatscreen TV, to old school quality. Super service from the staff and I will return back to this hotel again. The gym has lots of machines, its perfect.
