We had not been at this hotel for several months as we had some issues last time we stayed here, it was in the summer and the A/C was not working well and the drinks were terrible. Staff was always friendly and the hotel itself is were nicely designed. Rooms a quite large and the Turkish bath style shower setup is great. The garage is the one thing they cannot change, hard to get in and columns everywhere. Definitely a good hotel and worth it.
"beautiful hotel, excelent service"
I stayed here for two night as this hotel has good location for my traveling plans from Istanbul to other locations, as well as 10mins to airport (Sabiha Gokcen) The building is awesome, nice wood decoration from outside look to rooms as well, veneered furniture, amazing lobby area with tree on balconies.. Room price will not comment, as this is new build hotel simply in Istanbul.. restaurant with delicious food and quite big portions too - not just for style, but also enough for hunger. :) Breakfast with several choices as many similar hotels do. I enjoyed my stay, hope you will enjoy too ;)
"Great hotel with good links to Sabiha"
Excellent hotel, friendly staff. Leisure facilities are nothing short of first class. Would highly recommend! Also, English speaking staff and excellent room service. Can't fault the hotel. I routinely visit Istanbul on business and will be staying here again!
"A Great Hotel"
February 2017. Booked a junior suite as it was a very reasonable price for 2 nights and inclusive breakfasts. Greeted by friendly staff who spoke very good English, shown to the suite and it was a proper WOW moment. A large lounge with 3-4 seat sofa, 2 leather chairs, FREE minibar fridge, desk and a TV on the wall. Full wall windows leading out to a balcony which would accommodate maybe 15 people' Table & chairs outside. The bedroom, with a huge bed, had a full wall window and a door leading to the balcony. TV on the wall, fridge and loads or storage. Twin sinks with toiletries led on to the granite shower room which could fit 6, maybe 8 people...I didn't try BTW. Opposite that is the SAUNA, seats 2. Toilet at the end of the corridor. OK, the room is superb, it took a while to figure out how to work all the lights, ok, I didn't work them all out as I only had 3 days there (somewhat complicated). Easy to use aircon with heating (it was 1 Celsius outside) an cooling, nice and quiet too (very rare). All the rooms were immaculately clean. The view was of the outdoor pool in a sort of courtyard. Pigeons were making a bit of a mess on the spa windows, but apart from that, everything looked well maintained and tidy. I am ashamed to say I didn't use the gym...nor the spa, so I can't comment, however, the facilities listed on the website show quite a selection of treatment rooms, pools etc. The bar: Spot on, good and friendly service, remarkably good beer (came with nuts/crisps or a huge bowl of Doritos) and reasonable prices for a 5 star hotel (£5 for a pint). I had a bar meal, just a burger, it was nicely cooked and inexpensive. Breakfast: Hmm, no baked beans or pork products. OK, it's on the Asian side of Istanbul so no problem with that (respect other cultures!). Loads to eat otherwise and freshly made eggs of all types. Friendly service and highly efficient even though they were very busy. Avoid the coffee unless you are Turkish. Tea was nice. I think 0630 to 10am, so chill and eat. The view was of the highway and airport a couple of km away, but it also overlooks the numerous outdoor pools. Smokers will be happy to know there are designated outdoor areas to partake, whilst non smokers can see them/me and scowl, sneer etc (a very British trait). The restaurant: A nice menu and actually cheap, apart from the wine which definitely wasn't. Good, friendly service. I had 2 meals, the first was just warm. I could have sent it back, but I was so hungry. I didn't report it. The second night's meal was quite lovely...seriously, try the calzone, it's special, and cheap. I wasn't keen on the area, it looked a bit grotty, but I understand it's near industrial areas, so perhaps a better choice for business people. There's a small shop in the lobby which has a few essentials like cigarettes and bikinis. Pass a police checkpoint on the road in and a few police wandering just outside (inside on occasion). Turkey, sadly, has had issues lately, so this part offers reassurance and safety. That about sums it up, everything was a high standard, just the local area and the first meal to deduct a couple of points. I imagine it would be a great place in the summer with all the pools and proximity to the airport, kids would love it. Right! The big question: would I stay there again' Definitely, and I would bring my family, but only for a couple of nights as there are beaches and holiday things not too far away.
"Good for the airport (SAW that is)"
Pretty close to the airport on the Asian side. Has an amazing spa so I would suggest anyone staying to take advantage of it if they can. The facilities are good enough to have a nice stay without going out- which means a lot because there is not much to do in the surrounding area. You may still go to the Marina or the Viaport for shopping and eating though. The rooms looking facing the highway connection might be a bit noisy.
