"5 Star hotel just outside of the City Centre"
If you're not that bothered about location, this is the hotel is great! The hotel is some 20 mins out of the city centre however there is a tram and bus service that runs from practically outside the hotel front door making access easy and convenient. The leisure facilities are great as are the staff who were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. The hotel decor and theme is beautiful. The room was spacious and the bathroom had a powerful shower as well as full size bath. Some rooms have a small balcony over looking the hotel garden which is a bonus if you are a smoker. The hotel offers parking but it is at a cost; 25Euros i believe but we chose to park for free on the main road which was fine.
"Excellent hotel and facilities "
Very high quality hotel with excellent room specifications. Staff are friendly and helpful and food quality is high. Probably better for business than leisure as a little way out of centre and needs a short 15 EUR taxi ride
"Only for business"
First of all the area where this hotel is situated is well outside Milan centre, although it is excellent if you are planning to visit Politecnico di Milano which is just a few blocks away. Having said that, please note that if you are not a smoker, you will find this hotel smelly as hell! We chose a non smoking room, but whenever the air/con was on, the air was automatically filled with cigarette smell. This hotel is preferred by Chinese who are heavy smokers and you can even feel it when walking down the corridors. Our room was left without toilet paper for 2 days so we had to use tissues instead. Mostly visited for business or seminars, you will find it noisy and the overall service mediocre. The restaurant however is pleasant and their pizza is very good, although their menu choices are rather limited. We asked for parking for our car which was 20€ per day, we used it for two nights however we were charged for our entire stay! The staff is polite but indifferent, so is the hotel experience in its whole.
We stayed at the Radisson for 3 nights in a deluxe room which I would recommend paying the upgrade price for as it was very spacious. The hotel is a little out of Milan city centre however really easy to get into the city, do not pay for taxis as it can work out expensive, the tram is just as easy. The breakfast was a little disappointing lots of variety in cereals and breads however no essentials like a toaster and there was not a great selection on the hot breakfast buffet. I would like to say a thank you to the reception staff for being very helpful, especially Marco who helped us plan our day trip to lake como and our journey to lake Garda via train.
"Good and clean"
I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu hotel in Milan on vacation. The room was big, the beds comfortable, the bathroom was relatively very spacious (I had a tub, a separate shower, toilet, sink, and bidet), and it was very clean. The only disadvantage is location, the hotel is far from popular sites and there's no access to public transportation near by, so you end up travelling a lot in taxis.
