"Nice, modern rooms"
A little off location but okay business hotel. Had a nice room, with modern decoration and with a big window to the street. Parking was a little confusing as it said in the garage that you pay when exiting the garage, but actually you had to pay in the hotel reception.
"Pleasant modern hotel."
Stayed for three nights attending industry conference. The hotel is a bit outside of the downtown core (10-15 min walk) and around the re-vitalised Rhine river harbour area. Several what looked like popular restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood. Rooms and common areas are modern with a bit of funky angle. Happy to consider if in town again.

"Almost a comedy of errors"
This is basically a very nice hotel and I would not hesitate recommending this place. Clearly, most of the staff at the front desk is not properly trained... and I stay in Radisson hotels a lot... A bathroom - look through from the bedroom is certainly, as pointed out by several previous reviewers - an acquired taste. Breakfast was good, the usual good selection as in most Radisson hotels. The main issue is that this is clearly a poorly managed hotel. Nowhere is that more visible than at the front desk (and telephone). Parking in-house is a steep 23 Euro. I had asked before via telephone and was ensure that parking on the street was not a problem. That was 'allowed everywhere, except where not' I was ensured... It was indeed everywhere from 9 to 23H @ 2 Euro/hour. Nevertheless, the front desk also tried to inform me that 1 street over from the hotel it was possible to park without these steep fees. There were no such places - no ifs or buts. I asked to cancel an alarm at the front desk, but was nevertheless woken up. That request had been misunderstood. There is an alternative in Dusseldorf for Radisson regulars: The Scandinavia hotel!
"Only you're a fan of firm mattresses"
Decent sized rooms but the beds have really hard mattresses. Way too firm for me. After complaining at the reception they managed to improve it a little. Although this seems to be a modern hotel, the room did show some signs of wear as towel hooks and door stops were loose. I enjoyed the rain shower which had adequate water pressure. The breakfast area was on the small side for the size of the hotel. The breakfast itself was good with fresh fruit and juice available. The gym was small, but not many guests were using it when I was there. The area around the hotel is modern and there is a good choice of restaurants.
