"Wow factor in hotel"
Wonderful hotel, good location, close to underground. Class hotel, great decor. Piano in downstairs foyer, beautiful lght fixtures. Not in budget range price but well worth the cost. Good food served in reaturant. Staff all very attentive. Good place for conference - great facilities. would recomend this hotel
Excellent hotel. Comfortable rooms. Just off Oxford St. Stayed here in November during a weekend theater break. Very good food in restaurant and outside garden patio area. Price quite reasonable considering London. Staff very helpful and pleasant.
"Bad !!! Wouldn't Go Again !!"
The service was horrible. I stayed on the phone for 20minutes just to reach the concierge with no answer. Even when I asked to be connected to the manager to complain, the service manager didn't pick up twice and when he finally did he hung up in my face transferring me the doorman !!!!!! What kind of service is this!!!! I eventually called that same operator to order room service and I found his attitude to be extremely rude !!! This is besides that the furniture in the refurbished junior suite was extremely poor and outdated !!! Would definitely NOT recommend !!!!
"Great Value for Money"
Located controlling just off oxford street. Perfect if your stay includes shopping, eating out, nightlife, visiting sites around the city. However the rooms are quite small but the price justifies it along with the unbeatable location.
"A good hotel - fine for a few nights"
I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. I was checked in quickly and thanked for being a Gold member of the Club. I was upgraded to a business class room. The room was adequate although there are no plugs by the bed meaning you can't sit in bed and charge your laptop at the same time. The bathroom was showing its age with a lot of mould around the shower. Housekeeping was otherwise fine. Breakfast selection is good although, on the second morning, I gave my room number and another guest barged to the desk and asked to sign his bill. Rather than dealing with him and leave me standing for two minutes, the waitress should have taken me to my table given that I was first - basic customer service. Bar service was fine, although could be quite slow at lunchtime with not many waiters doing table service. The manager preferred to sit down at a table with (what seemed like) a new member of staff to talk to him about the rota - in full earshot of everyone - rather than serve drinks.
