"Fabulous Family Getaway"
Homelike and family friendly hotel. Great location, private beach onboard. Spacious and tidy rooms. Food was delicious, breakfast buffet and dinner. Restaurants, Spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, sauna, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi. Services was first class from the reception, cleaning, animation group to Henry and customer and owners personnel. It's a lovely place to be.
"TIMESHARE AT ITS BEST!!"
we have just enjoyed a weeks stay at Azure. every year just gets better and better, so much so that we purchased another week with Azure so we can stay for longer. the location is perfect for us, easy access to get around the island, but out of the way from the hustle and bustle, pure tranquility. the beach is stunning no matter what time of year and the views from our balcony are spectacular, we love sitting on the terrace watching the sunsets. As per usual we were greeted by the wonderful Concierge team, Glen and Alison, nothing is too much trouble for them, even when my heel broke on my shoe they were there ready with leather glue to fix it for the evening. they arranged a lovely meal for us at a new restaurant in Qawra called SURF N TURF. i would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves meat! the restaurant staff, reception staff, cleaning staff are always so friendly and greet you every morning. which is why we love coming back here year after year, we cant wait for our 2 week stay next year! love to all and see you all next time. please also pass on our thanks to Glen and Alison for keeping some stuff behind for us till next year, made a huge difference to luggage allowance with gifts that we bought whilst there. no need to pay for extra luggage anymore! :)
"Best timeshare at Azure"
A very relaxing stay at our timeshare resort. We have been coming for 8 years now and each year gets better and better. We came in April this time to see what spring is like and how beautiful it is this time of year. Very sunny days but not as hot as peak time, which we usually come for. We hired a go pro from the concierge team Alison and Glen. They also booked us onto the rolling geeks which is a buggy tour around the three cities. So much fun!!! The go pro came in very handy, great service and all for free. We are back in July and cannot wait to visit you all again!
"Beautiful hotel, a bit out of the way"
We went on a timeshare promotion, and upgraded to a suite with a sea view. So glad we did. The views were lovely, even if the weather wasn't always what we wanted. The apartment was lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. I just have to ask who thought it was a good idea to put frosted glass doors in the bathroom, leading into the kitchen' Wonderful to be able to sleep listening to the sound of the sea. It's a pity to mention the nightly youth in noisy cars but they are not the fault of the hotel. We went on a tour of the island with Ainsley, which was great. We went into Valetta by bus a couple of times, too. The Maltese are not timid drivers and we decided to stick to the public transport and ferries. It was great, although we will probably hire a car next time. And there will be a next time. We went to Gozo, too. A pity about the Azure window - it could have stayed standing for a couple of months, but well, that's life. A beautiful island. The time share presentation took longer than the 90 minutes I expected. But everyone was friendly and delightful. We walked through the nature reserve, and along the coastal walks. It was too cold to swim (although we did use the hotel indoor spa pool) but there was plenty to do to entertain us. I think though that we would prefer next time to be a bit more accessible so will definitely hire a car.
"Probably the best hotel in Malta, good value for Carlson redemptions"
I used my Club Carlson points to come here and the redemption rate was very good, got upgraded to a suite with a sea view which was very nice, it even had a kitchenette. I cannot fault the rooms they are excellent, easily one of the highest standard of rooms I've seen in any Radisson hotel this side of the Atlantic. I had three distinct balcony's! The hotel is in the best location on the island in terms of the beach, and it is basically the only thing around so it's quite at night. It's not quite in the morning when there will be a crane doing something or about 5 delivery trucks crashing around at stupid a'clock. It's a 30 minute drive from the airport and once you are out of the city is pretty simple to find, you can see it from miles away. 10 minutes drive to St Paul's bay via a single road through a very pretty valley. On-site gym does not have any serious weight lifting equipment, just a set of dumbbells limited to 10kg and a good quality cable machine with the usual cardio. Outside pool is good and with a river between pools and an outside jacuzzi (at the end). There's also a spa. Staff are very nice for the most part and all speak perfect English. There are a number of on-site bars and restaurants, only one of which includes the Club Carlson discount which happens to be the one with the smallest food menu. You need to watch the Mokka bar mangers since they seem confused about member benefits and to try and give you the gold level discount and don't believe you when you point out that concierge is 20%. Luckily the membership card never lies so make sure you bring this with you so they can swipe it at the till and you get the correct discount you are entitled to (robots are the future!). Actually that's a good point you will need your Club Carlson card at the hotel since they are pickier than most, probably due to it being half Azure. I think that one half of the building has been sold to Azure and they do time shares, but if I didn't know beforehand you wouldn't notice and I wasn't accosted by anyone at any time. I went during half term in April and of course it was littered with children, so if you want a relaxing sunbathing holiday you better bring headphones. There are time periods where the kids aren't allowed in the pools but no one to enforce this so yeah, enjoy swimming. On the plus side there is an adults only private terrace above the diving shop which is easily the best spot to sunbathe, also has service buttons for the beach bar which the lower level loungers don't have. Try the Martini Royale! Overall I would go back it's a very nice hotel and worth the points.
