"A fusion of bad architect meets crazy interior designer"
This has to be one of the weirdest styled hotels in which I have stayed. The exterior seems to be old Swedish country style, the interior has modern areas but rooms styled in mustard yellow with terrible lighting , awful bathroom layouts and desks that protrude into the room at angles. A 1980's design disaster. Having said that the breakfasts are excellent and location by the lake looked good but I was unable to explore as it was a business trip.
"No temperature control HOT"
Hotel needs improvement. From the photos on the website it looks OK but I would not want to stay here during the summer. There is no airconditioning. Its now only 4 degrees outside but the room is about 25 degrees. Way too hot to sleep. (Can't imagine what it would be like when the outside temperature goes up). Advice to management: turn down the heating! Other problem is wifi is not exactly stable during the peak evening hours (when everyone is in their rooms) so this needs a bit of attention as well. Breakfast is very good btw.
"Outstanding service from Peppe Cannavo"
Spent 3 nights and 4 days recently at Radisson Blu and had to mention the fantastic service, humour and personality provided by Peppe Cannavo. His attention to the diners and his ability to connect to people is second to none. Graze Mille Peppe.
"Many things to be improved, but after 3rd stay I think they are getting closer"
Stayed at this hotel a few times because it turned out to be pretty cheap on certain occasions, and one of the cheaper options in the area (some of the low-cost brands excluded). Sure the hotel is old and needs some refurbishing (bathrooms are still left in the 80s...), but it is clean and staff is friendly. Breakfast here is really good though, and also rooms are big. It is for sure cheaper than staying in the city centre, further if spring/summer it has a good location near to a big park and also the water front, all this at a short drive from the central parts of Stockholm (10min...).
"Outdated and boring"
I stayed at this hotel due to taking a course at a learning center located within the same building. The location is close to a large park and is quite close to Mall of Scandinavia, which does contain some shopping. Otherwise the location isn't that good. The rooms are old-fashioned, but not in a good way. The room does have a "minibar", however it is empty, thus it is just an empty refrigerator. On the other side, the gym was quite nice with a lot of different machines. Remember to bring a towel from your room to the changing room, if you need to borrow one from the gym it costs 45kr. The pool is OK. The breakfast is standard hotel breakfast, nothing special. The staff was very nice and professional and could answer any question.
