"Highs and Lows"
The hotel has a good location and the centre of the city is about 15 walk minutes away and 20 minutes in a cab to the airport. The restaurants are fair with good food in The Blue Elephant and Filini (the breakfast bacon is the best I've ever had). However, service for the medium sized party I was with was poor, with no food being served until around 30 minutes after we arrived - and we were there for several nights. The rooms are adequate, but the beds are uncomfortable, with the pushed-together twin beds in the suites tending to roll you into the middle between the two beds! The air conditioning was extremely drying and several of my party complained that it left their mouths and noses very dry and sleeping was uncomfortable. The minibar was not refilled on one of the nights.
+16C degrees in room. Called reception - they came with mobile heater... I dont think this us ok for a business hotel. They ask if I want to move or gave the heater provided I dont fall asleep with it 😬
"Hotel is horrible"
there is nothing about this hotel that can be positive other the room view. Staff are pathetic. Hotel is very old, no renovation whatsoever. Sometimes when walking around you get the feeling of a haunted place. Rooms are terrible, beds are very small. we had to pay extra 400 KRON for lousy fold-able bed. the whole vacation was under danger to be spoiled until we moved to Marriott. lots of reviews for radisson i see on on web are suspicious, this hotel is a no go, my advice , stay away
I stayed one night. It is walking distance (15 min) to the downtown, close to the underground (1 min to downtown) and very close to the airport (15 min by taxi). Nice room, good restaurants. I liked it. The view of the room is nice. And the room is very comfortable.
"Nice view nice stay"
This short hotel experience was quite nice. Staff are attentive and the location is nice. The hotel is a distance from the airport and train station so a taxi ride there and back was necessary although there appears to be public transit nearby. There are three restaurants to select from and all seem to be nice. Filini Restaurant on the main floor provided a nice Italian style meal and Blue Elephant provided a nice Thai snack and drinks. The Kyoto restaurant also looked good but I didn't stop in. The exercise facility looked to be high quality with squash courts and many things much more than I expected from a hotel. There is a casino entrance from the main lobby. There is a charge to enter and I didn't look around but I believe this is the only casino in the city. If you are interested in gambling the location is very convenient. There is a park across the street that is nice for a short walk or a run. Please take care crossing the street as there are many bicycle lanes and traffic lights are coordinated to allow for cars and bicycles to travel in harmony with pedestrians. It is very well organized so its important to take care to walk when appropriate or you may be unexpectedly in the middle of a large bicycle mob. The hotel wifi worked well for my business needs. I did not look for self laundry services. I wish I had more time to stay here but I found my short stay to be very comfortable.
