"Unfair commercial practice"
I had the most disappointing customer experience. When I booked the room, I was not informed about having to pay a warranty. When I got there, I was told it was "standard practice" (even though this information was not available on their website) and that I will get the money back the day I checked out. This did not happen. Five days later I contacted them thorough the travel agency to ask when will I get the money back, and was told that it "normally" takes 1 month. I will of course, never go there again.
"A bit tired but a good hotel "
It's an old hotel and feels it, rooms are dated but a nice size and the views north to the city are awesome. The gym is a proper gym and has some great facilities, however, it's well used and a bit on the smelly side. Room service options are poor but the breakfast makes up for it. The location is a bit remote but right o the main drag into town so getting a taxi or cycling is easy.
"Rooms are not great and can be noisy. "
Stayed for two nights in March. The rooms are plane and without character. On the first evening I noticed that there was a lot noise from the electors. So I went to reception and asked to change my room. I was informed that the hotel was full, but tomorrow they would change me to another room which would even be a business room. I did not sleep well. Noisy, bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Room phone did not work, no table for suitcase. The next day I went to reception. Was told, no problem. Just leave my things and they would change. In the afternoon, different staff. I asked to access my room. They had made up my original room. Not moved my bag. I asked about the room. They gave me another, the same, and two keys so I could move my bag myself and return the key. I.e. Not what was promised. The second room was a bit quieter, but still noise from elevators, suitcase table was there. Breakfast ok although crowded. The Thai Resto is good. Downstairs facilities and wifi is good. However a comfortable night is most important. Lack of service compounds the first problem.
"Pretty good all round"
I was here for 10 nights on a business trip so got to know it quite well. Check in and check out were efficient and with friendly and helpful staff. My room ("Business Class") was on the 20th floor with great views of the city. Quite comfortable and everything worked, including a Nespresso machine which was most welcome. Tried room service once and they promptly delivered a good burger and beer. Breakfast is very good, the usual Scandinavian spread plus Danish bacon and pastries. The lobby bar has friendly staff and a reasonable range of drinks. The station is a short walk from Islands Brygge Metro Station (handy to get to the Bella Centre) and a slightly longer walk over the bridge to Tivoli and the town centre. Always plenty of taxis out the front.
"Clean and functional"
Had 3 nights stay which was comfortable. Nice cheery welcome at reception and got out room at 10.30am which was a bonus. Room adequate, certainly not luxurious by any means. We paid extra for a room on the upper floor so had a great view of the city. The location is okay; about 15/20 from the centre and 10 mins from the metro. Okay for the price.
