"Too small double bed"
Ok location and great reception bar. Fitness center and restaurents in the hotel. The bed was too small and the room was too hot. Good thing was that you can rent bicycles to get around in the city. Friendly staff in the reception and bar area.
friendly service, good location and breakfast one of the best ive ever seen. only complaints are i couldnt sleep and got an allergy from the duvet/pillow as it had feathers in, hot and uncomfortable (but ive noticed northern europeans like these) and not many veggie options for lunch. Dinner is amazing though as they have a thai restaurant with great menu!
"Nice hotel, good location"
This hotel is located just outside the city center. The Tivoli gardens and Rathaus (starting point for walking tours) are about a KM away. The hotel is nice though fraying a bit on the edges. The breakfast is sumptuous and the nice touch is that the eggs are done as per your choice. There are many restaurants nearby, again at walking distance :-) Recommended for a stay while visiting Copenhagen. Just a side note, the parking is DKK 210 per day.
Not to well situated relatively to public transportation and a bit worn. Spacious with lot's of restaurants and bars to choose from as well as common areas. I t must have been quite impressive when it was built. Staff very professional. Toiletries however of the level you find in discount hotels. Tiny TV oddly enough considering the rest and a lot of rooms face out to a main road that is highly trafficked even late at night. My room on floor 19 was noisy.
"Christmas Market Visit"
We went as a group of friends at Christmas for the Christmas markets. Overall, the hotel was excellent, serving the best breakfast variety we have ever eaten (outdoing many 5* hotels worldwide easily!). The rooms were clean and location was fantastic, walking distance to the main Christmas markets and the attractions nearby. The bar staff were absolutely fantastic and extremely accommodating. The only disappointment for this hotel is that, even though we booked double rooms, we were provided with two single beds (very badly) joined together. When the first couple called to complain, the lady at reception was extremely nice and apologised for the error and immediately changed their reservation. However, when myself and my husband called to call minutes later, we spoke to her colleague (male) who was extremely rude abut the situation and basically told us that we had no choice and it didn't matter what we had booked because other people had got there first and so were allocated the double rooms. Being fairly relaxed, my husband and I decided not to take it any further, however it was the manner in which we were spoken to that appalled us. I am hoping that this was a one off and that the receptionist was simply in a bad mood that day!
