"Perfect hotel for a city break!!"
There were 4 of us (3 adults and 1 child) and we booked a Junior suite. I expected a large room as shown in the photos with a bed and sofa bed so my expectations were by far exceeded when we arrived at the room to find it was a two room junior suite, with an en suite bathroom (separate shower and bath, two sinks and hidden toilet, plus a toilet in the main sitting room (where the sofa bed was). The bathroom also had a heated floor! Room included a large, free safe and well stocked mini bar which was complimentary for the first items in there, plus bottles of water when we arrived, a pack of haribo on each pillow and kettle with a good supply of tea/coffee. The room was in the back left corner of the hotel, on the 7th floor, and the main bedroom had windows all around 2 sides with a view over the street below and easy to spot a very handy to use Netto! We also had free slippers and bath robes to use! Room was spotless! A very quiet location and no noise heard from inside hotel. All the receptionists we spoke to used good English and when we enquired about purchasing a Berlin card, they were very helpful and very efficient, so huge thanks to them! Perfect location as a 5 min walk from Alexanderplatz train/metro station (which has a direct route to the airport) and many buses and trams nearby so everywhere so easily accessible! Hotel was next door to Hofbrauhaus which is a typical German beer hall (which we ate in on 3 nights) and considering how loud it is inside (live bad on every evening), you could hardly hear anything from outside! We didn't use many facilities in the hotel, mainly due to having so many sights to fit in! We also didn't have breakfast not only due to the cost, but due to the close proximity of many eateries. Highly recommended hotel which we would definitely stay in on a return to Berlin!!
"Great value for money"
Modern hotel, with very competitive prices. The staff were very fast to react to our only issue: We booked a standard room but the one they allocated to us was stinking of smoke - obviously some idiot guest decided to ignore the signs and prohibition. The hotel staff rapidly upgraded us to a business room in the 8th floor free of charge. Will definitely come back.
Hotel was in a good location, only about 7 minute walk from alexanderplatz which is a main transport hub so easy to reach any part of the city. Rooms were modern but limited english tv channels. Breakfast was good, was included in our hotel price but not sure it was worth the €17 each when many cafes in the area for cheaper. Only critisism would be the cleaners - we popped back to the hotel one afternoon for a rest and they knocked on the door and came in 3 times after our room had already been cleaned. On the day we were checking out they knocked on the door and just came in and woke us up at 8.30 to try clean even though we had until 12 to check out. Surely they could see from their system we hadnt checked out yet.
"Great hotel "
We had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel. The room was very comfortable, and the staff very accommodating. Breakfast was super, with an excellent array of food and attentive staff. I can recommend the freshly cooked eggs and mushrooms! The only downfall was the lack of a lounge area and a bar that opened beefier 6pm. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Berlin.
"Nice and Comfortable stay"
It was a good hotet, great location, good staff, comfortable and big rooms. a nice lobby with a nice smoking area. eas to take taxi and close to metro station. a walking distance to Postdam Square. however you have to pay for room service!!
