The Twenty One hotel is located in the city centre of Rome, near the city's most famous places of interest, including the Vatican and Saint Peter's Basilica, Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, the Pincian Hill and Villa Borghese.
Ottimo albergo, ero già stato lì sette anni fa. L'unico appunto è relativo alle stanze un pó tropo piccole. Il bagno, ben fatto e pulitissimo, troppo piccolo.Comment of O. Odoacre , Italy the 2016-03-05
Perfect location within 15 minute walk of the Vatican. Rooms were excellent as were the staff. I stayed at 6 hotels during my visit to Italy and this was the best and value for money.Comment of E. ALAN , United Kingdom the 2016-01-17
Proche metro et Vatican. Rue commerçante avec un excellent glacier au coin de la rue. Hotel propre, personnel très sympa (Fredeico, Allan) parlant Français.Comment of A. CORINNE , France the 2015-11-01
"Friendly and professional staff"
I have been a couple of time and I will keep going. Perfectly located in a busy area of Rome, with staff always paying attention to our needs in a smooth and professional way. Very nicely decorated and clean rooms, very quiet. A generous breakfast and delicious dinner at hotel's restaurant, again thanks to the personnel for their kindness and professionalism both in the morning and in the evening. Don't forget that here you can get complimentary basic minibar. The only downside is that there are rooms with poor lighting. Once this type of room was assigned to me, however when I pointed out the problem to the receptionist, I was given a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room on the top floor with a great terrace with a very nice view, a nice and appreciated touch! Well done to you all!
This is an excellent hotel close to amenities. The room was good size and very clean with a beautiful bathroom.Food in the Bistro was fine with 10% discount if were a resident. Special mention for the receptionist Titania who was very helpful -the hotel is lucky to have her-exceptional!!!
"Still a Good Choice When in Rome"
This was my second stay at the Twentyone Hotel in the past two years and I'm happy to report the Twentyone remains my hotel of choice whenever I'm in Rome. The food in the restaurant continues to be exceptional and this includes the morning breakfast buffet. A couple of things on this visit that I did not remember from the last time I was here in October 2014 were that this year the pillows on the beds were nearly flat. Even if there was an extra pillow in the room (which there was not), two pillows would still be flat. Having a more substantial on the bed would be a most welcome improvement. Also, I realize that mid October is not typically air conditioning weather, but we were having a warm spell and my room was uncomfortably warm. Opening the window was really not an option because our room faced the very busy street outside.. Except for the flat pillows and the room temperature, I was once again very satisfied with my stay at the Twentyone. I will definitely return for a third visit in the future.
"Great location, average hotel"
This was our first visit to Rome and we aimed to visit majority of the tourist locations. Twentyone hotel was in a perfect location for us. Turn right out of the hotel and after a 15-20 minute stroll you're at the Vatican. Turn left out of the hotel and after 5-10 minutes you're in Piazza del Popolo. We walked everywhere and took advice from a friend who had lived in Rome. The advice was to wear comfortable shoes and carry a water bottle. The bottle can be filled up at small water fountains that are continuously spilling water by the roadsides and on the pavements. The water is perfectly clear and ice cold. The reason for walking was so that we could also look up at all the amazing architecture as we walked around. Therefore, for us Twentyone Hotel was in the perfect location. Our room was adequate, but as it faced out onto the main road, there was some noise from traffic. It was also quite dark. The bathroom was clean and modern. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing special. I've paid more and had worse, I've also paid less and had better! Reception staff were excellent, very knowledgeable and very helpful. The location is undoubtedly this hotels' selling point.
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. When booking, one of the key points stated was the fact the hotel offered AC. Unfortunately, to our surprise we arrived and were told there's no AC from Nov to Feb. That's absurd. Such information should be stated. The staff was unresponsive. The breakfast was nothing great. Beds are horrible and rundown. Worst sleep ever with poor quality beds and no AC. Location is decent and near the Vatican.
