Very, Very nice hotel especially for the money! Everything you could possibly want is at the hotel. You could have a fantastic vacation and never leave the premises. We especially enjoyed the pool area with amazing pool side service with full restaurant and bar menus. The casino is awesome. I also liked the many shops and food court area. The natural smoothie place was perfect! I will definitely stay again!Comment of P. Troy , United States the 2016-10-10
great location off-stripComment of L. Jennifer , United States the 2016-06-02
This hotel is awsome! The hotel lobby smelled really fresh and didn't have a hint of smoke.Comment of B. Phillip , United States the 2016-01-19
Great deal. Large room and large bathroom. Had a nice view of the Vegas Strip. Good restaurant options in the casino area.Comment of R. Maisie , United States the 2015-12-01
Comment of F. Oliver , Germany the 2015-10-19
Beautiful relaxing oasis away from the Vegas strip. A true getaway.Comment of R. Tina , United States the 2015-07-23
Loved being close to Red Rock Canyon and away from noise pollution of the Strip. Summerlin is a peaceful location that is less trafficked, and draws people looking for quality in casino and spa. The casino has a really great mall just a stroll away, a pool that was superb - kept chilled in the high heat - and food that was fresh and of very good quality for the most part. I was particularly impressed with the architect's creative use of stone, marble, wood and designs. It was eye candy to me. We felt safe, welcomed and very comfortable. The views from both sides of the hotel are amazing, either the canyon or the strip.Comment of C. George , United States the 2015-07-09
My only feedback about meals was the price of the restaurants. The buffet was wonderful and reasonably priced for the value. The other restaurants were all expensive for our budget. Need something more in the middle price range. Everything else was wonderful. We had a small issue with the door on the shower and a service employee came to fix it. He was wonderful, very personable and fixed the problem quickly. Housekeeping was also wonderful, very responsive. Thank you for a nice stay.Comment of M. Marilyn , United States the 2015-06-16
Fazit: tolles Ambiente. Jederzeit wieder.Comment of M. Jessica , Germany the 2015-05-15
Comment of N. Frank , Germany the 2014-05-20
Check-in and check-out, valet and bell service were all very speedy and friendly. We stayed at the Bellaggio the week before and it was not even close to as good customer service. I was very impressed. We also had great service in the resort restaurants - the Yard House especially. The spa was well-appointed, exquisitely clean and well-managed. An incredible value for this service to be included with a hotel stay, since the hotel deal we had was so affordable. FYI, we did no gambling; our children were in love with the arcade; and we went to the movies on site.Comment of P. Amy , United States the 2013-10-09
"Beautiful Hotel Away from Las Vegas Strip"
This upscale casino resort is 2 miles from the Red Rock Canyon National Recreation area and 11 miles from Las Vegas Strip. It is a beautiful property with several restaurants to eat at. Rooms are clean and spacious. Buffet Breakfast is unbelievable. Has hundreds of items .... something for every body!
"Great get away"
Red rock is a little distance from all of the "Vegas" glitter, but could be just what your looking for. The offer upscale atmosphere and options without the upscale Vegas price. Was very impressed with the ambiance, casino area, and the dinner buffet was superb, next time I want to be off strip...red rock will get my first look at.
"Nicest off Strip hotel we have experienced"
We stayed here for 3 nights to attend a birthday celebration. The staff at check in were gracious and welcoming. They offered us a room upgrade at $200 per night, which we declined, and we were extremely happy with the regular room we had booked, which was nicer than a lot of upgraded rooms I have stayed in. The rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, lovely big bath tub and even bubble bath! The pool area is really nice and we enjoyed meals at Libre and Lucille's. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort as long as you realize that it is quite far from the strip. It took us 20-30 minutes to drive there, the concierge informed us that a taxi is $60-70 or Uber $30-40. They do have a free shuttle but it is not very frequent. There is a really nice shopping mall across the street. Recommend room on high floor.
"Sprawling jewel in the Desert"
With the Vegas Strip crowded by traffic and not much available space, newer facilities move further away from city center. Red Rock takes advantage of necessity by offering great views and facilities. The casino is kinda standard, the amenities typical Las Vegas. Their support for conferences is good. The food is well prepared and there's a decent variety. The buffet is packed at meal time and worth the cost. Staff are well trained and friendly
"Biggest hotel I've stay in"
I accompanied my husband on a business trip to the Red Rock Casino & Spa and at check in we asked for a room away from the elevators as smoke bothers us. I know it is a non smoking hotel but any hotel with a casino in it will be smoky especially near the elevators as it travels up, in my opinion. The receptionist put us away from the elevators and asked if we minded walking as it was a long hallway, we didn't mind. We had room 18149 at almost the complete opposite end of the elevators which was a 1/4 mile! Who the heck designs a hotel with a 1/4 mile hallway and it's curved so you can't see the end of it' I am not a fan of huge hotels and this was by far the biggest I've ever stayed in. I don't mind the walking, I have a fit bit and try and do 6-7 miles a day but just getting to my car felt like a mile in itself. The room was a great size and had a gorgeous view of the red rocks to the west. The mini fridge was filled with way overpriced items and when I asked if they would remove them so I could put my items inside they said no.Too bad at the Intercontinental they remove them for us. Also the wifi was non existent in our room. The pool area was incredible but filled with way too many kids running around and splashing. Some kids were tossing wet soaker balls one day and hit a couple of loungers. The pool wait staff is made up of young augmented women, which in Las Vegas is normal I guess but who would bring their kids here is beyond me. I asked for a diet coke and when Brandi brought my $3.24 purchase she took my $5 and walked away thanking me, really! The last day of our trip 3/17/17 we had a late check out of 4pm and headed out to do some hiking in the red rock area. We came back and headed to the pool at 1pm and figured we stay for a couple of hours. We found out the pool would be closing at 2pm for a concert later that evening! I was not very happy as they really should have giving more notice to us. They informed us one evening the water would be shut off from 1-2am but they didn't let us know the pool which is one main focal point of this hotel would be closing because of a concert. It was a very nice hotel but just way to big and expensive for my taste. The location for me was perfect as I met up with some fellow geocachers and hiked each day, doing a 12 mile hike one day (not including getting to my room because of the super long corridors).
