Todo excelente !Comment of C. Diego , Argentina the 2016-02-12
The Regal Pacific is really well located to enable you to see central Buenos Aires easily. We stayed there 3 nights and most days we walked out of the main door and off to a different part of town to sightsee. The bus station isn't far away as well, as is the metro. It has great staff and offers a good variety of options for breakfast. Generally clean and modern but on one day they did forget to clean our room, if truth be told. Would definitely go back if I visited Buenos Aires again.
"Below My Expectations"
This hotel claims to be a five stars, but I could not understand why. The premises are in need of a deep renovation and the overall standards are not what should be expected. The breakfast was good. I cannot comment on the price, because I was there under a package of services.
"Nice hotel, well located"
Stayed here a couple days prior to boarding a cruise. Our room was quite nice, a king bed on the street side. Even being on the street it was pretty quiet. My mother-in-law was in a room facing the courtyard, said it was the quietest hotel room she had stayed in for years. Saw one earlier review which mentioned low water pressure in the shower, but this was not an issue for us. Staff was terrific throughout and spoke great English, much better than my poor attempts at Spanish (which they still gracefully put up with). Hotel wi-fi was $5 a day and worked very well. Ate one dinner at the hotel restaurant, which was perfectly fine if a little pricey. There is a small grocery store a block south and block west which is open until at least 8 pm, maybe 9, a good place to pick up bottled water, soda, snacks, whatever. There is also a fairly large shopping mall with a good food court a couple blocks west of the hotel, which may be useful as most (though not all) of the restaurants in downtown are closed on weekends. The hotel was fairly comfortable walking distance to a number of top "things to do" such as Teatro Colon, Puerto Madero and Basilica del Santisimo Sacramento, and a cheap ($10 or less) taxi ride to others such as Recoleta Cemetary, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and others. Also, the cruise terminal was also a brief taxi ride from the hotel as well. All-in-all, a thoroughly enjoyable experience for all of us, and if we find ourselves in Buenos Aires in the future we would look to stay here again.
"Great staff, room, and location"
We stayed here for 5 nights and were really happy with our choice. I had done no research and chose the hotel based on the recommendation of an acquaintance. It was in the business area of the city so lots of coffee shops around, walking distance to Calle Florida, good connections to buses and subway to visit La Boca and Palermo (about equidistant to both areas). Staff was lovely. Room was large and well appointed. Pool was shaded and private. They kindly let us leave a large backpack while we went inland for 4 days.Only on the weekend did we find fewer amenities in the area but only meant a 10 minute walk instead of a 2 minute walk. Would highly recommend.
"Luxury type hotel"
My husband I stayed here in August 2015 for 6 nights. This is a luxury type hotel and it was the nicest place we stayed in throughout our entire month long travels in South America. Typically in South America, hotel rooms are small but this hotel room was so big that it beats any North American hotel room. The king size bed was very comfortable. And the washroom was a modern and big. We had no wifi in the room as there was wifi in the lobby but it was the worst wifi connection ever. The location of hotel was fairly good. It was slightly on the edge of the city so you could walk to the river which had good restaurant options. But it was closer to the mall and Florida ave where all the hotspots are.
