"Great location, but need to improve a few things at their facilities"
This is the 4th or 5th time I stay there (on business). The good news is that value-for-money is still one of the best in the city, food is good (both breakfast buffert and room service), hotel staff is very corteous, service-oriented and helpful (especially, Diego and Leonardo at the restaurant, and Ivanna at the front desk). Wi-fi has been upgraded recently so performance is not an issue, though it is a bit un-practical to call front desk every day to obtain the updated "username & password". More importantly, the rooms are not as neatly clean as they used to be. For example, bed cover had stains, and sofa cushion also had stains (on both sides, since i flipped). Not a big deal, but things to keep in mind for further improvement
"Central, Big rooms, Clean and Very Very Friendly"
I was here for 6 days business/pleasure; I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very central, 3-4 min walk to Florida street (shopping); It’s situated on Del Mayo (Business district); 10 minute walk from Puerto Madero; it’s also accessible to Retiero and two metro stations. The rooms are very large, well maintained and clean. The furniture has a feel of class about it. I felt well looked after in the hotel, mostly because of the extremely friendly staff, from doormen (Markenz, Antony et. al.), cleaners, catering staff (Diego, Lonardo et. al.) and receptionist. I’d like to really thank Barbara (girl at reception) — her friendliness, suggestions, tips, recommendations and advice made my stay in BA enjoyable. I pretty much consulted her for every excursion, meal, price and the list goes on. I do have three suggestions for hotel management: 1. WiFi is now Ubiquitous, even Le Estancia had free WiFi (p.s., to all those reading this, go there for a streak). Don’t annoy your guests by charging 5USD per day for WiFi in the room. 2. It’s a hot country, it’d be nice to get a complementary bottle of water. It doesn’t cost much - even 3 star hotels provide guests with water. As for the bottle of Evian in the room priced at 8USD, thats an annoying joke - your better of with no water in the room. 3. Others on Trip Advisor may have thought the food was good, but in my experience the choice was limited, not conducive for non-meat eaters. Although I do eat meat (excluding pork), it was annoying for pork to be in everything. I don’t want to leave readers with a sour feel! The hotel is excellent (if they changed the above I’d say fantastic). It’s well located, clean, spacious and friendly, very very friendly. I’d certainly recommend it, if I visit BA again, I’d say here.
The rooms were very nice and quiet. The customer service and the hotel employees were all very helpful. The location is perfect. The breakfast was excellent so be sure to include this option. I would definitely stay there again.
"A very good clean well presented Hotel"
A smart hotel with a good small breakfast restaurant and swimming pool. Rooms are clean and good. A variety of restaurants are just 10 minutes walk away. Just off the main road the hotel is in a quite location. Although 12 months since we were there we would highly recommend this hotel for 2/3 nights stay.
"Great Staff Great Value Great Location"
We stayed at Hotel Pacific for nights, and I would highly recommend it. It is located about a five minute walk from the marina and about a 15 minutes walk from Casa, Roserio, the Presidential Palace. The rooms are a nice sizeand equipped with a refrigerator safe and small kitchenette. The hotel has a well equipped work out room and nice pool. If also offers a very bountiful buffet breakfast that is amply overseen by the very engaging Leonardo. However, the entire staff is extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions, directions, suggestions of things to do and helpful in arranging transfer service at a fair fixed price to and from the airport. Barbara and Anthony who checked us in an answered more questions than they probably wished were particularly helpful to us. Our plane to the US did not leave until 9:00 pm. They graciously extended our check out time until 2:00. We decided to keep the room until 4:00r for which there was a slight additional but fair charge of $ 40.00. The only complaint is that there is a charge of $ 5.00 per day charge for internet wifi use in your room. It is free in the lobby. However, for a first class hotel with a strong business clientele, this is a bush league move. In spite of this one relatively small limitation I would unhesitatingly recommend the Regal Pacific and stay there again if visiting Buenos Aires.
