"First visit to Romania. Rembrandt Hotel an excellent introduction!"
Great location and atmosphere. Staff were happy, capable, and eager to assist. Diana, Rakila, Andrea and Toni were especially helpful and approachable. Onward travel assistance was invaluable. Facilities were very clean and comfortable. I'll be back!
"Great hotel in a fascinating city"
Our room was one of their tourist class so didn't have a view of the street but was still very well decorated and comfortable with a good bathroom. The location of the hotel is great, right in the middle of the old town, but the room was quiet. Breakfast very good. The hotel has a nice cafe attached where we could while away an hour or two with a coffee and a book. The reception staff were great and helped us organise overnight trains to and from bucovina to see the painted monasteries and then onward. This is a really good base for a visit to Bucharest.
Toni will make you feel right at ho,e in Bucharest. The room is very nice, large and with tasteful up to date appointments. The hotel has arranged for a 2 day trip to Brasov and visits to Bran and Peles castles. The bed is very comfortable and the breakfast has choices for everyone. The location in the center of Old Town puts you in the middle of the best restaurants and cafes. Book here if visiting Bucharest.
"Difficult to fault"
Just got back from a visit with another couple. The hotel is located in the old town' it's no more than 5-10 mins walk to most of the major landmarks. It's in a pedestrianised area so traffic noise is not a problem. This is not a 5* hotel but it does everything very well. Check in was simple and the staff were helpful and courteous at all times. The lift is small but full of character and the stairs are packed with pictures to glance at as you use them. The bedrooms were large and the old creaky floorboards were really a joy rather than a problem. The beds were large and cofortable, I don't sleep well away from home but I slept very well here, there was no noise from the street area whilst we were here. The bathroom was large and functional with a good shower and the expected toiletries. Both rooms were very clean. The breakfast was not huge and was continental in style however there was plenty to choose from with cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, breads with meats/cheeses and home made waffles to order with jams and various toppings. All in all a lovely well placed place to stay. Highly recommended.
"Good Times at the Rembrandt "
Had a great time in Bucharest, and it all started with the Rembrandt. Great small hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast good and breakfast room comfortable and relaxed. Cafe Klein was a great place for a beer and a nibble. Rooms were super clean and spacious. All in all, a great place to stay at a great value.
