"Funky boutique hotel "
This funky hotel situated near a lot of attractions. It has a small library of books. The room was small , clean and but it had self sufficient and very well planned. There are plenty of restaurants nearby which is a plus. The airport bus is also not very far from the hotel. The restaurant on the ground floor was very cool. The breakfast had not many option but was sufficient..
"Really nice hotel "
The rembrandt hotel is very small from the outside and is covered in brass. Do not let the small size from the front put you off. Our room was absolutely massive. All of the furniture was really nice. The bed we had was king size and so comfortable. Really quaint with a touch of art nouveau. The only downer was the lift but it was certainly quirky and very small just big enough for you and one suit case. Really clean bathroom was fantastic and the views of Burcerest roof tops was amazing when the sun first came up in the morning with rays of sunshine bouncing off the copper roof opposite. Nice breakfast mini fridge etc. Going back tomorrow to stay before our flight.
"Great little boutique hotel"
We stayed at the hotel on 2 separate nights in 2 different rooms as part of a tour. It's a lovely hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms. Tea and coffee facilities are available in your room, along with a hairdryer, TV and mini bar. There are only a couple of rooms on each floor with a small old-fashioned style lift which goes up to the 6th floor. If you're on the 7th floor, you'll have to walk the last flight but if you're in room 71, it's well worth it for the terrace and the view! Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly - especially the guy behind the bar. Check out was midday, which was great for a final lazy morning. Great central location with shops, restaurants and bars only moments away.
"Location 5 Hotel 4 "
As in the reviews this hotel is in a fantastic location right on the Old town and can easily walk to a number of attractions, bars and restaurants within minutes, you couldn't fault the location 5 stars. The hotel is a little quirky quite narrow only a couple of rooms per floor, felt a bit more bed and breakfast than hotel, we were on the 6th floor room 63 the couple we were with were in room 14 right on top of the reception although we booked them together same grade their room was far bigger than ours but ours did the job, the receptionists were all really helpful and friendly throughout. We were supposed to have safe in room but we didn't this was quickly fixed and one was placed on the floor under the desk in the room a little strange but served its purpose, they had a makeshift mini bar in room which was good value. We found the rooms a little noisy our friends in room 14 were disturbed by the receptionist who was suffering from a loud cough throughout the first night and on another day when the cleaners started hoovering reception at 6am, I did find the lifts were pretty noisy as well at our room. We both faced the courtyard which appeared to have a load of rubbish in the bottom with broken plastic table and chairs and other stuff and the building opposite appeared very run dow so no view courtyard side but quieter from street noise. Breakfast was basic but set us up for the day and the waitress was always on hand and quick to replenish items and get new drinks, coffee was really nice no English/breakfast teabags if that is your thing so bring a few did have loads of other choices, Hotel does need to invest in a new more robust toaster as this was blocked on two days we were there meaning it got pretty smokey. I did like the location for breakfast up spiral stairs second floor of Cafe Klein. All in all we would happily stay there again as location and value makes up for any minor downsides hotel may have. Recommended.
Loved the large rooms and the good quality furniture and decor. They served a good breakfast in a pleasant mezzanine area. It is in a good location in the middle of the older part of the city. Staff were all very friendly and the hotel is well looked after. Ideal choice for Bucharest.
