If you are planning on staying in Bucharest the Rembrandt offers the perfect location. Our room was a decent size, clean and with all the creature comforts you need on a mini break. Breakfast is a smallish buffet style and although it could be improved by offering a bit more of a choice (it was the same each morning) it was perfectly fine for us. Would certainly stay there again.
"excellent boutique hotel in bucharest!"
I stayed at the hotel for 3 night. the location is great, near the old city and a metro station is very close. many bars, pubs and places to eat are near the hotel. the room for single is small but clean, equipped and comfortable. the breakfast's buffet is very good and everything were fresh.one of the good thing in the hotel is the staff, they are very friendly and welcoming. because i had to couch flight early in the morning (4 p.m.),many thanks to Rachela from the reception that was very helpful and also made a coffee for me before i left.
"Beautiful hotel "
We stayed in this hotel on our trip to Romania with Untraveled Paths. We stayed two nights one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end. Both rooms we were given were beautiful in their own different ways. The first was massive with a huge bed and bathroom. The second was on the top floor and was smaller but had a balcony. Breakfast was continental and was really good, the coffee was amazing!! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.
"Very nice little hotel at the heart of Bucharest"
Very nice little hotel at the heart of Bucharest. The room we booked was small but still neat, cozy and comfortable. In the room you can find a mini bar that includes a nice variety of snacks and some small bottles of drinks; there is also a small fridge with soft drinks and some chocolates. TV screen in the room is large and includes a list of English language channels (with romanian subtitles). Heating in the room (even in the bathroom) was extraordinaire, creating a fabulous atmosphere in the cold Bucharest !!! Service and people working there were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style with good quantity and quality stuff. The location is superb, right in the old city of Bucharest where you can find nice restaurants and bars; the metro station Piata Unirii is within walking distance. I certainly recommend this hotel but I would choose the larger room type.
"Boutique Hotel in excellent Old Town location"
We stayed here over the Christmas period while touring Romania and would highly recommend. We started our trip on the 7th floor, which was a lovely room with an actual balcony with table and chairs. We returned at the end of the trip to a room on the 4th floor, which was huge and well appointed. Each room has a well stocked mini bar, and each bathroom has slippers and shampoo and soap. There's a selection of DVDs in reception if you wish to watch something in your room, and the whole hotel has interesting artwork hung throughout. There is no hairdryer, but a quick call to reception will have one delivered in less than 5 minutes. The breakfast is tasty and well rounded. All staff we spoke to were friendly and really helpful. The hotel itself is situated right in the middle of old town with plenty of bars and restaurants to explore. Overall I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. Excellent!
