"Spacious room but dark corridor "
The room is modern n spacious. We found the pillows too soft and the housekeeping took a while to deliver firm pillows. Got backache after the 2nd night onwards (we stayed for 4 nights) as the bed was not comfortable unless you are sleeping in the middle of the mattress. This happened to my husband too. Felt that the corridor to the rooms are too dim. The lift has this interesting 'black museum' feel. The breakfast was nothing to shout about. The egg station was disappointing as the omelette was dry n slightly brown same for the scramble eggs. The security is tight n we felt safe. Overall the stay was nice but we will try out other hotels the next time we come to Bangkok. Our departure flight was @6pm n we requested for late checkout but was only allowed 1 hour extension even though my husband is a member of Marriott, understand the hotel was fully booked.
"Great place busy hotel"
Stayed here with my family for celebrating my mothers 55th birthday. The hotel was nice. As marriott gold members got an upgrade - and yes. The proximity was very close to all the major attractions and malls. Had a great time. Just felt the warmth of the staff and manager could have been a little more.
This has been at least the fifth stay in this hotel. Being a Marriott Gold member, we were upgraded to a larger corner room. The check in process were in the club concierge with immediate offering of juice upon arrival. Room was modern and nice and well maintained. Hospitality of the staff in the club was really superb. Even in a busy day, they never stopped offering drink so my glass was always full. Food variety is among the best and more plentiful than it's sister JW Marriott nearby and is available till the end of serving hour. The food is much better than those in North America. I would not hesitate to come back again and again. I forgot names in the club and will take their names in my next review.
My wife, five year old daughter and I stayed at this hotel for three nights in November 2016. A cab from the airport to the hotel was about 40 minutes and cost 500 baht. Please factor traffic when going to and from the airport. Also, leave extra time if you need a cab (anywhere in the city) as it takes a little time to get a cab from the hotel. The hotel is in the center of the city with many shopping and dining options within walking distance. The rooms were very nice and breakfast at the executive lounge was extensive. We also ordered room service and the food was very good and not that expensive. The bathrooms are nice with both a shower and a tub. The WiFi is strong and they give you free water bottles everyday. The pool was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we told them we were leaving for the airport at 4am, they completed the paperwork so that we could pay the bill immediately and arranged for both breakfast and a taxi to the airport. This made our early morning departure much more pleasant. If we are in Bangkok again, we will definitely stay in this hotel again.
"Contemporary modern hotel in central Bangkok"
Really enjoyed staying at this contemporary and modern hotel right in the center of Bangkok, located walking distance to Chidlom BTS, Central world and Erawan shrine. The gym is also quite well equipped, and the executive lounge is comfortable and plenty of refreshments and canapes during the evening drinks.
