"Very enjoyable week - our first trip to Barcelona."
The convenient (walking/bus) location of the Renaissance Barcelona is one of its foremost strengths. Communication prior to the visit was very helpful and upon arrival the staff we interacted with were exceptionally capable - professional, knowledgeable and caring. Our enjoyment of Barcelona was enhanced by the facilities and staff of the Renaissance Barcelona. We recommend the hotel enthusiastically and without any reservations.
"Comfortable, great location"
Our room on the top floor was spacious, clean, and modern with a wonderful view of La Sagrada Familia and the Torre Agbar. The bathroom was beautiful green marble with great toiletries including bath salts, wash cloths (not always found in European hotels) a make up mirror, and large tub with great shower head. The bed was very comfortable. Convenient location near La Rambla and the beautiful shopping area of Passeig de Gràcia. They also have a delightful rooftop bar with secluded hot tub.
"Two great days in Barcelona!"
This hotel was great, located near Casa Balti, and easy access to hop on hop off busses! Rooms were clean, bathroom was a bit weird, only had half a shower door! Breakfast was very good with lots to choose from!

"Lovely Hotel But Eat Elsewhere"
Stayed for 6 nights so got a good feel for the hotel overall. Staff was always friendly and helpful; remembering my request for foam pillows, helping with tours, cabs, etc. My room was a good size (for Europe) with lots of sunshine, a window that opened to a quiet street and view of the Sagrada. Everything was close for sightseeingand the 8th floor lounge was a nice place to relax between outings. My rate included breakfast and the buffet was excellent. Being open until 11:00 meant on a late day no lunch was needed. I only wish I knew before the last day that breakfast to order and espresso were available as well as there is no information anywhere to let people know. The restaurant loses a star for the rest of the food and food service. In the lobby bar/restaurant I ordered soup and waited 20 minutes before being told they didn't have any. So I ordered a Margarita pizza and after another wait received a basic cheese pizza that I swear they got from the frozen section of the convenience store across the street. Do yourself a favor and eat at the many cafes nearby. Still, I would stay here again for the nice room, great location and friendly staff.
