You won't experience the 5 star feel in this place. We decided to stay here at the end of our trip for 4 nights. The hotel is huge and when we arrived we were advices that check in was on the other side, once there it was so busy and a bit messy. The lady that helped us first had the incorrect price, then corrected it "some system problem" occurred as well so she had to restart and then we were advices that our room was on the other side of the hotel, once at our room the cards were not working as the receptionist had not activated the cards. Room was clean, shower was ok, we had the poolside view. You could see the silicone around the shower glas door, and water would be all over the floor so we had to have a towel close to the shower that would soak all the water up. Pool is great so we enjoyed that! Don't bother with room service if you are hungry it takes forever, when ordering we were advices 40 minutes at least. We went to the bar another time and ordered a sandwich only to be told 5 minutes later that they did not have the ingredients, we ordered another sandwich that took close to 30 minutes to arrive - luckily there are other places to go nearby so we didn't have to rely on the restaurants at the hotel. Breakfast buffe was good with a lot of options, we went there once and was happy with the service. One of the days we asked if the cleaners could come later which they agreed to and asked about the times that would suit... they never cleaned that day. Overall this place is ok, long way from being a 5 star, the place is so big that service might have been forgotten about and they have simply lost control, the staff is nice, the location is very good but I would not go there again as it was not up to standards to finish our trip in a nice place which is was unfortunate.
"Great location, great service"
We stayed here 3 nights in March, the hotel location is excellent. 5 min walk to KLCC. Very convenient, there are not much restaurant and shops near by though. Otherwise it's really good. The hotel is recently renovated, we didn't get the renovated units but the old ones were still very good. The room were spacious, everything you can expect from a 5 star hotel. The only downside is there were no toilet bidets, the hotel offered us to move but we didn't have time so we were ok with it. The only improvement is more power outlets, there is only one near the working dress and one near the working desk. You can't charge your phone and lie in bed at all. It's a small thing but an inconvenience. Pool, gym and breakfasr were very nice. Highly recommend for the location and the price.
"Perfectly Located Hotel "
Good location. Walk distance to petronas towers and metro station. Good breakfast. Large swimming pool. Staff was helpful and friendly. The negative observation that rooms need some renovation as my room looks old however it was very clean.
"Lovely place and great people running this property"
Stayed for a few days wan was surprised by how well this place is run. Even with the renovations going on in the west wing, the place feels busy, but clean and efficient. The lounge for the elites was ran like clockwork with their attendant very attentive, but leaving you enough space. I will be back.
"Great location "
Been only one night at Renaissance hotel. It is very spacious, has many entrances. The rooms need some love and care. The food in the restaurants is average. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is best, minutes from Petrona Towers !
