"Pleasant business hotel but watch those prices!"
I chose this hotel mostly because of my preference for the Marriott/SPG group. It is a little bit out of town - so the main consequence is that you don't have so many restaurant choices close by. I think the hotel is very aware of this and I did find myself being shocked at some of the prices of the in-house dining options. I'm mostly saying this because I felt the prices were too high in comparison with the general pricing of the rooms. The closest metro, Dinamo, is also a bit of an adventure to reach - yes, only 10 mins away, but maybe not so easy in -20C(!!) I think many people will have to revert to using taxis - but now with the various internet taxi apps available this is not a problem. Having said that the hotel itself is very good. Check-in can be crowded as this hotel hosts many conferences and will often have large groups arriving and leaving. The rooms are fine - I think they are what one would expect for Moscow - since Moscow hotels tend to be very expensive. The highlight is certainly the fitness area and spa - very spacious and just a nice place to be in. I would stay here again, but only if there were no other better options.
"Expacted better than this"
I can not say bad hotel but you can find much more better hotels in this region with the same price or less. Clean rooms, very wide bathroom, furnitures looks like old. Difficult to sleep because the bed is very soft. I think I will not stay again.
"a good no surprise business hotel at high price"
for my first visit in moscow , I was surprised by the high price of this property . nothing exceptional with the rooms : Traditional layout with no separate toilet , little short on amenities including water when you pay such rates .Small TV , hotel food is extremely expensive so you better walk around an take your lunch and dinners outside. decent gym , no watter supplied and Russian languages menu only . I hope to find better next time /
"Big room, good breakfast, but with surprises"
The location is convenient if you plan to be around Moscow City. Check in was not very fluent. I had to wait even if there were nobody checking in except one. Another staff came after 2 minutes. She was kind and did her work as per instructions fluently Room is big with two queen size beds. So as bathroom. On the other hand lavatory at the bathroom is not comfortable. Very few space for amenities and others. Why to put drinking water at bathroom when you already are lack of space' It was another challenge to find hair dryer which was hidden in a bag in the drawer at the main desk together with safe. Quality of the amenities and bewerages were above average. Good brands. Bed was not comfortable, very soft. Room was over all clean and tidy. Best of it that I did not hear other guests noise at all. Breakfast variety is best I've ever seen in Moscow for this standard. Lot's of varieties with high quality standards. The only thing was that when I asked for a cappuccino, I was told that it is extra. After I got it, immediately invoice came for payment while I was still having breakfast. I felt a bit uncomfortable and show it to the waiter, which she understood immediately and apologised. I had to pay 460 roubles (extremely over priced) for a very low quality cappuccino. Check out was also smooth. This time there were enough staff to handle guests. Smiling face and a good bye. In general staff was not polite where as I already get used to better service at other hotels in Moscow. It was very clear that they were forced to smile even when they did it.
Located 15-20 min from city centre (better by the underground during traffic) on a main road. Very nice hotel with excellent gym and nice swimming pool. Rooms are nice modern and clean. Breakfast is good and service very friendly.
