I must first start off by saying that I have never written a review for anything before, but felt compelled to let people know how fantastic this Riad is after a wonderful 7 nights stay there. We arrived much later than planned, and were warmly greeted by Aziz (who is a true asset to the Riad) and we were given mint tea and pastries and showed our room. The breakfast was great every morrning, as much or as little as you fancied. We stayed in the Vanille room- I chose it when booking after reading the positive reviews on here and we werent disappointed. Tucked away at the top of the Riad, we had the peace and quiet we were looking for after a long day in the souks and medina. People are correct when they say it is a little far away from the centre, but that surely is part of the excitement of travelling to Marrakech, and once you establish a route, it is really simple and a really enjoyable walk (I got some of my best bargains walking to the Riad because they didnt have to compete with the other souk markets!) A little note to the people who have mentioned that the staff speak no English, I think you will find that the manager speaks fluent English and is always around to make sure you are enjoying your stay and if she can do anything to help you. I also think that part of the joy of visiting another country is learning the language and bumbling our way through, I certainly picked up several Arabic words! I could not recommend this Riad anymore and found such a great bargain for it- the same price as several hostels, so shop around and you can get a fantastic price.

Estancia muy agradable. El personal muy atento. La segunda noche, cuando llegamos después de todo el día por la ciudad, nos habían cambiado todas nuestras cosas de la habitación "Cumin" a la suite "Safran" que se había quedado libre, fue una agradable sorpresa. La habitación "Cumin" agradable aunque un poco oscura por estar en la planta baja, la habitación "Safran" increíble, bastante amplia y con una bañera con tragaluz muy bonita. La decoración de todo el Riad es maravillosa, está cuidado hasta el último detalle, y la tranquilidad se agradece mucho. La única pega, la distancia a la plaza Jamaa El Fna (20 min andando), aunque así se conoce el Marrakech más auténtico. Se encuentra al norte de la medina, muy cerca de la puerta Bab-el-Khemis

Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans ce riad, les personnes travaillant dans ce riad sont d'un extrême gentillesse ainsi que son propriétaire. Nous les remercions encore pour leur accueil. Le riad est très jolie, 5 chambres, 1 terrasse. Pour profiter de la piscine en hivers il faut demander à ce qu'il le chauffe une journée avant. Vous pouvez y aller sans problème. La place est à 20 minutes de marche et il ne faut pas se perdre !!!

A fantastic Riad, beautifully decorated. Our room was the smallest yet lovely and lacking nothing. The only problem was the location - quite a walk from the main square which was a bit problematic at night given that we were two girls on our own. However, I would thoroughly recommend this Riad.
