My adult daughter and I stayed here after booking a Moroccan tour with a tour company. This riyad is a hidden gem off the side streets of Fez. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable, and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this to anyone coming to Fez!
"A great Moroccan experience"
As part of our tour of Morocco we spent 2 nights at Riad Yacout in Fes. You walk down a quaint alley way from the street to a large antique entry door which opens onto this beautiful atrium with a fountain in the middle. You would not have expected this from the outside view. The staff welcomed us with mint tea and cookies and we were even upgraded to a suite room with a very comfortable king bed on the 3rd fl overlooking the atrium. The extra large room was wonderfully appointed with Moroccan themed furniture and large seating area. It was great to come back to after a full day of touring. There is wifi and a tv (French and Arab channels). Very relaxing. The staff and food (breakfast and dinner) were awesome and they made every effort to meet our requests. Any issues like wifi problems were fixed immediately. Staff even setup breakfast early for us as they knew we had to leave before the normal schedule. Overall, a great place to stay in Fes for a wonderful Moroccan experience. Thanks to all at Riad Yacout.
"pleasure experience in yacout"
We are four families holiday in Morroco. Yacout is elegant cozy place to stay, traditional Morroco style middle class building, nice poor, brilliant indoor courtyard, fine exquisite furnitures, especially their golden living room. Plentiful breakfast, the kitchen made fresh hand made bakery for guests. The suite is enough space to stay, stunning mosaics bath tub, luxurious bedding. The service also very friendly. The manger is beautiful gal, who is elegant, kind, well-educated Morroco lady. We love this place much, and if have chance we will be back here spend more time in Fes.
"The best staff and an amazing atmosphere is an historic "palace""
First of all the staff here are amazing! They are so nice. I was very upset that the management did not provide a tip jar. That is wrong. They were all so helpful and the service was excellent. The place itself feels like a palace, much bigger than a typical Riad and the rooms are set back from the open courtyard so it was not noisy It has a great location quite close to the Blue Gate, very convenient. It is an historic home restored to glory. We were upgraded to nicer rooms as we came in the off season and we really appreciated that. I would like to come back when it is warmer because the pool looks amazing, and is much larger than in other Riads.
"Lovely place with friendly professional staff"
Stayed two nights on the year end/new year's days and enjoyed New Year's Eve dinner party at the riad (and when I went back to my room, found a sweet new year-message card and cookies from the staff). The room was not big but clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and professionally supported my journey. Had no hot water after midnight but it was okay in earlier time and morning. Would love to stay again.
